The Port of Houston Authority (PHA) Procurement Services Department is proud to announce the implementation of a new vendor system called BuySpeed™ e-Procurement So-lution (“BuySpeed”). BuySpeed will replace the Vendor In-formation System (VIS) and will enable suppliers and ven-dors to find and respond to bid opportunities through a more efficient online procurement portal.
The Port will be making the transition from the Vendor Infor-mation System to BuySpeed in the First Quarter of 2016. All vendors and suppliers who wish to do business with the Port of Houston or receive bid notifications MUST RE-REGISTER within the BuySpeed E-Procurement Solution System in the 4th quarter of 2015.
Please continue to monitor PHA’s website for more details as the launch date approaches.
