They accept SAT and ACT scores being sent straight from the testing agency. They will not accept the SAT scores on your transcripts

Shelton National Leadership Scholarship: It is awarded to an entering freshman, valued at $10,000 per year, renewable upon satisfactory academic progress and leadership involvement.

Chancellor's Leadership Scholarship

Requirements:

leadership potential, academic achievement, personal talents, unique work or service experience, financial need, overcoming personal adversity, and the candidate's understanding and appreciation of diversity. Only entering freshmen are eligible to apply for this award.

Yes, NC state provides on campus housing.

They have at least 20 residence halls.

Avent Ferry Complex

Each room in Avent Ferry is equipped with a microfridge and Internet, with access to cable TV available for an extra charge. Rooms in Building F also have a common kitchenette with a mid-sized refrigerator, microwave and a sink. Each room in Avent Ferry also has its own bathroom and individually controlled air conditioning/heating units. Located at the intersection of Avent Ferry Road and Western Boulevard, Avent Ferry Complex offers residents a computer lab, TV lounge with large screen TV, pool table, mailboxes and a 24-hour desk.
