existing site. Relatively flat. • Two sides front streets (El Diente

St and Dunraven Way), the north side fronts a retention/detention pond, and the east side fronts an open space trail and housing.

• Regional stormwater pond is on site for detention/retention.

• Full site program is mostly feasible on site without using off-site amenities.

• All streets are ADA compliant. • Useable site is approximately 8

acres acres. • Tucked within established

neighborhood. • Good access to major roads. • Drainage swale running north-

south on east side.

Effect upon Neighborhood Schools – 625 Seats at Table Rock Mesa (TRM) Pk-8 reduces enrollment at 9

schools. – Impact of TRM: 6 of 9 schools are below 95% target enrollment, 2

below 100%. Without TRM in 2016, only 2 below 95% target enrollment; 5 over 100% utilization.

Economics – Table Rock Mesa and Candelas Project Cost estimate

$28,800/Student or $18 Million. – No Site Premium to either location; Jeffco Schools owns TRM Site;

Candelas ownership has not been transferred to Arvada, then to JCSD.

Future Urgent Needs – 250 Seat Sierra Expansion relieves Meiklejohn ES – ASAP – Complete Table Rock Mesa PK-8 – 2019 PK-8 at Candelas, K6 at Leyden Rock & Expand Ralston Valley
