Things have been a bit slow the last couple of weeks. Many of the DDO players joined the crew over in

Star Wars during the GLUE event and everyone seemed to really enjoy spending time with old and new

friends. Hopefully things will pick back up with a new full schedule of events in the coming weeks.

DDO was experiencing some server side issues on and off for a few days but the problems should be

worked out for Presidents Day weekend and I am hoping that we can try once again to plan at least one

weekly guild event.

Weekly Free Item from the

DDoStore,

The biggest upcoming news for

DDO right now is Update 17.

With Update 17 the plan is to

offer an epic version of the

Reaver's Bane quest series in

Gianthold. This will include an

epic version of the outdoor area

which if you like the Gianthold

area should be pretty cool. Also as

part of the update they will be

adding the third part of the

Monster Manual and a reworking

of the Augment Slots. The update

is expected to be released around

the 20th of February.

For Valentie's Day DDO is giving

away a free Box of Chocolates the

code is VDAY13. Inventory space upgrades are also on sale and are always worth having.

We recently started a Sith/Empire Alt Wednesday event. By designating a specific day for our members

to play out their dark sides there will be a increased chance that others members will be on at the same

time. At the moment there is no scheduled time for events, just a casual all day event to play your

alt. Eventually once enough players reach 50 and there is interest then we may start scheduling events.

Speaking of scheduled events our raiding has never been better! This past Tuesday we took a break and

ran through the new Ilum area and tried our skills at some World PvP. Next Tuesday we will be taking

our level 50 members to get the +60 stat dataCron on the fleet, that's +10 to each stat! Please make it if

you can, because it will probably be several months before we do it again. Starting in April we will be

moving our weekly Raids to Thursdays.

This past Tuesday Feb 12th Update 1.7 went live and a new level 50 recurring event can now be found on

Ilum in the old world PvP area. This new event is only going to last till Feb 26th, but will return

someday. Also a new way of leveling was introduced Galatic Reputation rewarding some pretty sweet

looking new gear shells.

Very little new info on the expansion "Rise of the Hutt Cartel" has came out, except a new promo video

but no new hard facts have been posted.

We are always getting new recruits and visiting members so I have created a new FAQ with information

about our branch and how it may be different from other games. If you have any addition questions you

would like me to add I would be more then happy to do it.

We are all eagerly await the beta for The Elder Scrolls

Online (ESO or TESO). Beta sign-ups started on January

22nd, and Zenimax has stated that the beta will start soon.

We are still in the early stages of assembling a provisional

branch, interested members and officers should seek out the

Elder Scrolls Online forum on the NOR forums.

One of the next big games coming out this year that has

grabed the attention of NOR is the new Dungeons &

Dragons NeverWinter set in the Forgotten Realms world

along the Sword Coast that many of us have known for

years. Closed Beta started this past weekend on the 8th-

10th and closed Alpha has been going on for a while.

We are in the very early stages of wether we will have a

provisional branch there, so we will be interested Officers that will want a active position in setting things

up when the time comes. We have also started a list of members that plan on playing this game at launch,

so be sure to add your name to that list!

To create a Guild tag inGame we will need 5 members in the same group, so if you get into Beta lets us

know on the boards. There were only 2 servers to choose from for closed beta and the server "Dragon"

was chosen.
