Join the Jurassic dinosaur hunt at Australia Zoo and go on an educational journey to the Jurassic era, seeing real-life, prehistorically-connected animals such as crocodiles, cassowaries and wombats as you follow clues fit for a palaeontologist – with a special treasure as a reward at the end.

Robert Irwin’s own dinosaur fossil collection will be on display for the first time and see a fossil cast on loan from the Queensland Museum, The Isisfordia, the great grandfather of all crocodiles and alligators, which existed on the earth almost 100 million years ago.

There’s a new permanent dinosaur fixture, an Allosaurus statue, and meet a new Australia Zoo dinosaur character who’s on the loose in the zoo.

Screenings of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3 will take place in the Crocoseum, and there are dinosaur-themed Zoo Keeper for a Day programs. Also win Jurassic World film prizes in the colouring-in competition.
