The room fullof cardboard boxesempty
The first day of fall-I walk with a cane nowbut I'm still in the world
I shake the camerato capture waves of light
it's an autumn night
While they're in the airlisten to the leaves falling
there
A mushroom cloudrising in the distance
iphones steady
At night you passa building with one light on
so you invent god
I like to think of blueas October
as you
Big treeyou've been with mefrom the beginning
A glass vase
holds a warped table
& a white rose
Every Sunday
at the sea
there’s a sermon
The music boxturns my head
again
Pounding dustfrom the couch
love
The dog was named Spotand he could run
and he owned a gun
A streetof fiery leavesmood swings
We substitutethat tree
with this tree
After 3 million yearsa fern grows here
I feel like I'm being followed
by a dragonfly
The Night of the Cicadasthe building collapses
exposing the apartments
At the rectoryunder the bare bulb
two men shooting up
Shaping steelwith a blowtorch
till it spills
The terrorof t.v. static
has me on pills
He walked by nightin black and white
and robbed passersby
Swimmingin the ponda few stars
Heavenhere
in the dirt
Without interiorsAmerican movie starsare comic book actors
The organ grinderhas to sell his monkey
to the University
