In today’s world, almost everything is done online. Students who have access to the Internet in their homes can complete homework assignments, research and type book reports, access extra study help, apply to colleges, and more. Parents benefit, too. With the Internet, they can pay bills online, find health and job resources, and connect with teachers. And with Comcast’s Internet Essentials, the nation’s most comprehensive broadband adoption program, eligible families have access to affordable Internet at home.

Internet Essentials aims to bridge the digital divide by offering broadband service for $9.95 a month; the option to buy an Internet-ready computer for less than $150; and free digital literacy training in print, online or in person to families that have at least one child eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

To see if you or a family you know may qualify for Internet Essentials, or if you have questions or would like more information please visit InternetEssentials.com or InternetBasico.com or call 1-855-846-8376 and for Spanish, 1-855-765-6995.
