People start to heal the moment they feel heard. -Cheryl Richardson

Having the support of others who are living with similar challenges provides immeasurable comfort to those living with cancer. CSCET offers a safe place for people to be heard and understood.

Although our board and staff delight in telling others about the work we are doing at CSCET, we’ve never felt like we have quite captured the essence of what really happens at the Rachael Young Center. Board President Jim Parris explains, “We begin each board meeting with a member moment, where a member shares their cancer story and how they have benefited from our services. We wanted to find a way to share these stories so others could see what a profound impact our community is having on those affected by cancer.” The idea of creating a CSCET video was hatched and the rest is history.

After months of preparation and planning, the day of filming finally arrived. Something special was happening; the energy of the staff, members, and film crew was electric. The finished product beautifully illustrates the potential for healing and hope provided by CSCET. We invite you to watch the full 6-minute video online at www.CancerSupportET.org/about-us.

A place of healing for those impacted by cancer.

This is a place to be comfortable in dealing with

your grief but it’s also a place to reinforce your hope. The more I participate in the
