Magnetic Particle Testing [MT]
Surface-type method that consists in the magnetization of an
object by electric or magnetic field.
Ultrasonic Testing [UT]
Industrial Ultrasonic Inspection to detect changes in the
internal structure of a material.
Tubular Technology uses cutting edge technology to verify the
quality of objects, materials or systems through Nondestructive
Testing [NDT] without affecting their essential characteristics and
ensuring their future utility.
With all the techniques at our disposal, our Nondestructive
Testing Division represents a diverse group of specialists. In
addition, each team has the ability to use these techniques to
perform courtesy inspections and provide the best service
possible.
NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING
Liquid Penetrant Testing [PT]
Penetrant Inspection applicable to the detection of
discontinuities to surface or that are on the surface of both
metallic and materials (ferrous and nonferrous) nonmetallic as
plastics, glass and ceramics, even in objects of complex
geometry.
Electromagnetic Test [ET]
Inducing electric currents or magnetic fields within the test
object.
NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING
Guided Waves [GW]
Ultrasonic Inspection with Guided Waves: Commonly known as Long
Range Ultrasonic is an alternative method of Nondestructive Testing
mainly used to detect material loss in pipelines. The big advantage
of guided wave testing is that the ultrasonic guided wave travels
along the axial length of pipeline with low attenuation.
Phased Array
The ultrasonic inspection technique for Phased Array is based on
the principles of conventional industrial ultrasound technology to
electronically modify the acoustic characteristics of the
transducers used.
3D Scanner
The laser scanning technology Handyscan 3D laptop has proven its
reliability, accuracy and extreme ease of use. The Handyscan 3D
scanner can automatically be placed in a unique dynamic reference
system in the pipe, thereby ensuring measurement accuracy.
Visual Test [VT]
Direct or indirect Visual Inspection using optical instruments
to assess the presence of surface defects and conformance to the
specification of the object.
