The committee will recommend that the convention admit the Church of the Holy Spirit in Fall River as a parish in union with the diocese.

The Church of the Holy Spirit is a new entity resulting from the merger of three Fall River parishes: the Church of the Ascension, St. John’s-St. Stephen’s Partnership and St. Mark’s Church.

Amendments to the Diocesan Constitution

The amendment clarifies the process for amending the Diocesan Constitution by indicating that amendments become effective at the adjournment of the current Diocesan Convention unless otherwise directed.
