    uses

    t h i s example in ICor. 9: 2^-27.

    Paul

    speaks here

    that we

    should

    have a purpose in l i f e .

    Our

    a c t i v i t i e s s h ou l d n t

    be

    wi t h ou t a im .

    We

    need to be

    l i k e

    r unne r s ,

    who while training, keeps the

    goal

in focus. In chapter 10, Paul

gives us tha t goal ,

    So

    whether you eat or

    drink

    or whatever you

    do, do

    i t a l l

    to

    the

    glory

    of God, I Cor.

    1-:31.

    I

    think

    we

    could

a l l learn to be more effect ive in l iving our l ives fo r God s glory.

    Instead of jus t

    le t t ing

    things happen by chance, we

    ought

    to have a

    plan or

    a theme for our

    l i f e .

    With a plan se t

    in

    our minds on how

we will glorify God, we can pick

    and reject

    activit ies with regards

    to how they

    wil l

    weave together

    in

    our lives to achieve

    that

    goal.

With a plan, our lives would be better organized so that we

    could

    use

    da i ly

    ac t i v i t i e s

    to

    achieve our

    goals
