In 2016, your NoCo Manufacturing Partnership will turn three years old! The partnership is a volunteer organization representing a loose affiliation of about 150 manufacturing companies, primarily in Northern Colorado. Together with our public partners and other like-minded manufacturing organizations, we seek to work together to help manufacturers and their communities thrive. In the organization’s brief history, we’ve already accomplished a great deal. If you visit our website, www.nocomfg.com, you’ll see what we mean.

As we look forward, we have ambitious plans to maintain our momentum. Our three standing committees, Manufacturing Rocks!, Manufacturing Talent, and Manufacturing Networks will keep working hard for you and for our greater manufacturing community. Our next major effort is NocoM 2016, our second annual manufacturing trade show for Northern Colorado.

If you attended last year’s NOCOM event, we don’t need to tell you what a great success it was. With nearly 60 exhibitors and 600 attendees, it was definitely the place to be. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better. Scheduled for April 28th at The Ranch in Loveland, NOCOM 2016 will once again show the strength and diversity of manufacturing in our great region. We want to recognize and thank our trade show sponsors for their continued support: EKS&H, First National Bank, Aerotek and Flood & Peterson.

New for NOCOM 2016 is the NOCOM Women in Manufacturing Forum presented by Flood & Peterson and the City of Fort Collins. Students and trade show attendees will have the opportunity to hear from women working in a variety of capacities in the industry. A NOCOM Women in Manufacturing Luncheon, presented by Flood & Peterson and the City of Fort Collins, will be hosted at The Budweiser Events center where students and guests can network with women working in the industry. An additional luncheon ticket and pre-registration is required.

NOCOM will conclude with the B2B Lounge - a reception with beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres. Please join us at the B2B Lounge to wrap up your experience at NOCOM! B2B Lounge is presented by CAMA and EWI.

Put NOCOM 2016 on your calendar as a “must attend” event, or better yet, come as an exhibitor and share what you’re all about.

Making Things … Makes Things HappenPartners working passionately to ensure Northern Colorado Manufacturers and our communities thrive

The NoCo Manufacturing Partnership is an all-volunteer partnership between public and private organizations to further the interests of manufacturers in northern Colorado. Working side-by-side, professionals in economic development, workforce development, education, and industry are doing great things in our region. Partnership members meet semi-annually in various locations throughout Northern Colorado.

The Partnership was originally designated for Larimer and Weld counties. However, the Partnership has had manufacturers from Brighton, Boulder, Longmont, Arvada and Colorado Springs attend events and the all-manufacturers meetings. The Partnership is inclusive and welcomes all manufacturers who would like to engage.

The Partnership currently has three committees pursuing initiatives

driven and led by the manufacturing community:

• Manufacturing Talent - Working with educators to prepare the next generation of manufacturers

• Manufacturing Networks - Working to build stronger business-to-business connections in our manufacturing community

• Manufacturing ROCKS! - Engaging students early for manufacturing careers
