No. 82 Friday 6th January2012 With this newsletter you will receive Curriculum Letters Nursery—Year 6 Spring Concerts Letter and permission slip from Mrs Thompson Years 2—6 Spring Term Calendar and Fixtures List

Dear Parents, Welcome back to Kew College, and we wish you all a very happy, peaceful and prosperous New Year. It was a real delight to see the children again yesterday despite the downpour which hit us at the crucial moment. The children, as ever, were undeterred and headed off to their lessons with their customary enthusiasm. It is impossible to feel anything other than positive in their presence! We have a busy term ahead. The Year 6 children came in on Monday for a warm-up before launching into their exams. We wish them all the best and are very proud of the way in which they are supporting each other. We are planning another exciting School Birthday on Friday 23rd March and will also be holding events to highlight our school charity, Just a Drop, on World Water Day, March 22nd. On March 5th and March 12th we will as a new venture be holding two musical evenings in St Luke’s Church Hall. This is an opportunity to showcase the whole range of music at Kew College and we think these will be exciting evenings. A letter with details is attached. May I wish you all the very best for 2012. Anne Dobell
