Brethren – I just want to say
“Thank You” for allowing me to
serve in the East again. Like each
of you, I have a deep affection for
our Lodge. With your help I hope
we can continue to strengthen all
aspects of our Lodge, making our
Masonic experiences enjoyable and
rewarding.
I also want to express my deep ap-
preciation to the Officers and mem-
bers who assumed positions of re-
sponsibility for this coming year.
Like many other lodges, we have-
n’t been immune to the difficulties
in filling leadership roles. But
thanks to the efforts of our Past
Masters and others, we’re now on
an upward trend. The current
Lodge Officers are outstanding
men who stepped up to the chal-
lenge. They have the “fire” to lead
our lodge; we just need to give
them our support and positive men-
toring. Please let our Lodge Offi-
cers know how much you appreci-
ate their efforts.
January is going to be a great
month. Bro. Mark Chapman, our
Secretary, will present an educa-
tional program at our Stated – The
Gothic Stained Glass Guild’s Influ-
ence on Freemasonry. Our Grand
Master, Most Worshipful William
Talbott Ellison, Jr. will make his
Official Visit to our District on the
17th. And we’re planning Degree
work as well.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me
([email protected], 434-
981-5428) or our Lodge Secretary,
Bro. Mark Chapman
([email protected], 434-971-
1332) if you need assistance. We’re
always available to help.
Fraternally,
Bro. Mike Griffin, Worshipful
