Qualification & Experience: Degree in Engineering preferably first class in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Civil/Instrumentation disciplines with experience as indicated at II

below in Operation/Maintenance of any of the major units of an integrated steel plant like Raw Material Handling Plant/Coke-Ovens & By-Product Plant/Blast Furnace/ Sinter Plant/Steel Melt Shop/Continuous Casting Dept./Hot Strip Rolling Mills/Oxygen Plant/Lime & Dolomite Plant/Power Plant & Blower House/ Utilities including Water Supply, CentralMaintenance Dept.

B. Industrial Safety (For the post of Sr. Manager (E4)/ Manager (E3))

No.of Posts: 04

Qualification & Experience: The candidate should be a Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety from a reputed institute likeCentral Labour Institute (CLI)/ Regional Labour Institute (RLI). The candidates should have working experience as at II below in a large manufacturing organization preferably in anIntegrated Steel Plant/Power Generation Plant/Heavy Engineering Industries/Continuous Process Industry. Candidates having experience in administration of Safety provisionsand knowledge of Industrial Safety Systems and regulations under the Factories Act will be preferred. Experience in promotion of safety consciousness among employees andexamination of machinery, equipment and building from safety angle and organizing safety training to employees will be an added advantage. The candidate should have adequateknowledge of Hindi.

C. Security Officer (E5/E4 level) on Contract basis

The contract period will be initially for a period of five years which is extendable on mutual consent.

Qualification & Experience: Must be a Graduate from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 10 years experience as commissioned officer in the Indian Armed Forcesor as Gazetted Officer in other para military Forces like CRPF, CISF, BSF etc or in Police Organizations or 15 years in executive cadre dealing with Security matters in large IndustrialOrganizations. Diploma in Fire and Security/ Safety management from a recognized institution will be an added advantage. Responsibilities will include planning, designing andimplementing well structured security arrangements for protection of company’s properties in the Plant, Residential Colonies, Other buildings, control of movements of personneland materials etc to and from the plant site/ office/ other areas owned by the company, without any hindrance to normal functioning, liaisoning with the Government authorities,management of Fire fighting services and other functions related to Security and Firefighting services of the plant/ project.

D. SURVEY (for the post of Junior Officer (Survey) (Supervisory level)

Qualification & Experience: “Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 05 years experience in Land and Road surveying with working knowledge in Auto CAD software, handlingof Total Station, Auto level etc.,”.

1. Experience and age relaxable and higher start in the time scale may be considered in case of deserving candidates. Candidates may be considered for a lower post in case theyare found otherwise suitable depending on their qualification, experience and present pos ition.

2. Apart from pay, other Perks and Allowances limited to 47% of Basic Pay will be payable. Other benefits include PRP, HRA (depending on place of posting), CPF, gratuity, Medicalfacilities, group insurance, etc., as per rules.

3. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not vest any right in candidates for being called for interview. Decision of management to call the candidates for selection shall be final. No interim correspondence will be entertained.

4. Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to & fro single AC II tier Rail Fare by shortest route subject to production of proof.

5. Candidates are required to superscribe the post for which they are applying on the envelope while sending the application.

* Scale of pay is under revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007.

Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/STs and 3 years for OBCs (Non-Creamy layer) and as per Govt. guidelines for PwDs/Ex. Servicemen.

(Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD will be as per Govt. guidelines). The no. of posts is tentative which may vary depending upon requirement.
