Remember that this annual picnic is certainly for our residents and their families, but it’s also for our staff and their families too! Our picnic is going to be held on Thursday, September 29th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. We will be serving delicious barbeque beef brisket, country fried chicken, green beans, potato salad, assorted rolls, lemonaid and iced tea! We would like to ask any family or staff that is participating to bring a dessert to share. Our WHCM Activity Department will be sending out invitations to our resident’s family members closer to the time of the picnic. Please RSVP for this special event so that we can have an idea of how many people will be attending. Whitehouse Country ManorFamily Picnic

It’s almost time for the Whitehouse Country Manor Annual Family Picnic! Remember that this annual picnic is certainly for our residents and their families, but it’s also for our staff and their families too!

Our picnic is going to be held on Thursday, September 29th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. We will be serving delicious barbeque beef brisket, country fried chicken, green beans, potato salad, assorted rolls, lemonaid and iced tea!

We would like to ask any family or staff that is participating to bring a dessert to share. Our WHCM Activity Department will be sending out invitations to our resident’s family members closer to the time of the picnic. Please RSVP for this special event so that we can have an idea of

how many people will be attending.

Progressive Fisherman’s Association Fish Fry!

Our first Fish Fry for the season will be on Friday, September 23rd. The price for senior citizens is $7.50, which includes:

Fried Fish and Tartar Sauce, Baked Potato or French Fries, Cole Slaw and a Dessert.

Make sure that your loved one has some funds in their account if they would like to participate in our monthly Fish Fry! YUM!

Sarge’s 600th Therapy Visit!Sarge, one of the Whitehouse Country Manor therapy dogs, logged his 600th visit here at WHCM on 8/18/2011! Sarge loves to visit everyone, but he is especially fond of children! Here he is shown with our communion volunteer children. We can’t tell who is enjoying this more, Sarge or the children!

Donnie Dixon and Gloria Steger for all of their hard work on the West Wing Garden.

When the Toledo Blade photographer came to take pictures of the garden Linda, Donnie

and Gloria were all beaming with pride! What an awesome tribute to our garden and the residents who take care of it!

Carlton Tillman HonoredOne of our residents, Carlton Tillman, was honored by Hospice of NW Ohio in recogntion of the Purple Heart he received during World War II. Congratulations go out to Carlton and Family.
