2. GENERAL INFORMATION

2.1 ABOUT BERLIN

3. OFFICIAL MEETING SCHEDULE

3.1 REGISTRATION AND CONFIRMATION OF ALL STARTERS:

Team managers must confirm all starters, present all licences and provide a sample of their team clothing kit. We request a maximum representation of two people per team attend the meeting.

3.2 TEAM MANAGERS MEETING

How to get there: From the athletes’ entrance U1 you take the 2nd door and go with the elevator to Level 0. There you leave the elevator to your right-hand side. From the ground floor you can take the entrance to the Accreditation Center left from the main entrance, also.

4. TEAM SERVICE

4.1 TEAM PARKING AREA

Please note that onsite parking is limited and the parking pass will be allocated to the teams according to the numbers of riders entered, until to a max. of two passes. Any further vehicles should be discussed with the team area coordinator.

4.2 TEAM STORAGE AREA Storage areas will be allocated to the teams according to the numbers of riders entered. On-site storage will be accessible from Sunday 25th November until Monday 3rd December. Should you need access to storage outside these dates, please contact us: [email protected] The key for the storage area must be picked up at the Key Issuing Room, that is at Level U1, BMZ – Athletes entrance. A 100 € cash deposit/per key must be made in exchange of the key to access the storage area. The deposit will be returned at the end of the event, when the key will be given back. Lost or unreturned keys will be charged with 100 € per key.

4.3 TRACK CENTRE TEAM BOXES

Track centre boxes will be available from Tuesday 27th November, 8 AM. Team boxes are allocated in the track centre considering the size of each team. Due to the large number of people on the track centre, the space is limited and we ask you to keep to your allocated area. To ensure that the track centre can be cleared quickly and safely in an emergency case, please ensure that your equipment does not excessively narrow or block walkways.

4.4 TEAM CHANGING ROOM

There are male and female changing rooms and shower facilities available at the Velodrome.

4.5 WATER SUPPLY During the training and competition days, team members will receive bottled water handed out by the LOC. The water bottles will be offered only in change of a deposit of … € per every water box.

The deposit will be refunded to the team only after the complete return of the empty water box. The water supply point will be situated only in the main corridor, nearby to the Athlete Entrance and the Storage Area.

4.6 TEAM PERFORMANCE ANALYSTS

Teams wishing to have a spot to for their Performance/Video Analysts have to reserve it by sending an email to [email protected] Please note that there is a limited number of spots and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. A fee of 50 € must be paid by cash in the Key Issuing Room, that is at Level U1, BMZ – Athletes entrance. Access key to Performance/Video Analysts Area will be distributed in the Key Issuing Room, that is at Level U1, BMZ – Athletes entrance. A 100 € cash deposit/per key must be made in exchange of the key to access to Performance/Video Analysts Area. The deposit will be returned at the end of the event, when the keys will be given back. Lost or unreturned keys will be charged with 100 € per key.

4.7 DOPING CONTROL

The anti-doping controls will be under the responsibility of the Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF).

Anti-doping tests will be carried out by the UCI Doping Control Officers appointed and in accordance with the UCI Regulations. Chaperons have the right and the duty to accompany athletes at all times and in all places. The athlete’s staff should not prevent the chaperons to observe permanently the athlete. Riders are reminded that it is their responsibility to report for doping control.

4.8 RIDER SAFETY RULES

The use of personal stereo or Go-Pro camera equipment and headphones whilst riding on the track is forbidden. The use of the derny and the use of starting blocks during the official training are not permitted. During these sessions, standing starts are permitted for single rider only. The standing start shall take place on the home straight only, in the sprinters' lane and only with the assistance of someone waving a flag at the exit of the bend.

4.9 TEAM PRIZE MONEY PAYMENTS

Prize money will be paid by cash in the Key Issuing Room, that is at Level U1, BMZ – Athletes entrance The payments will be done only:

4.10 TEAM MEDICAL

A team of paramedics and a doctor will be present throughout official training and competition. The team will be based in the track centre during official training and competition.

5. PERMANENCE AND ACCREDITATION CENTRE

Team Accreditations can be collected from the Accreditation Centre which is located at ground floor of the Velodrome during opening hours. How to get there: From the athletes’ entrance U1 you take the 2nd door and go with the elevator to Level 0. There you leave the elevator to your right-hand side.

All team members are required to wear their Accreditation Badge all times they are present in the venue. They should wear it in a manner that it is clearly visible to security staff. An Accreditation Badge is not transferable and only permits entry to the individual for whom it is issued. Misuse of an Accreditation Badge may result with the cancellation of accreditation. The team members are responsible for the safe keeping of their Accreditation Badge. If your Badge is lost or stolen, please report it to the Permanence/Accreditation Centre. Any abuse of the system such as passing your accreditation to another person will be reported to the UCI and your accreditation may be withdrawn. Please respect the area designations on your accreditation and do not argue with the volunteers and security personnel who have been instructed to maintain access control as designated by the organizer. Any abuse towards volunteers and security agents will not be tolerated and all incidents will be reported immediately to the UCI. From Tuesday 27th November is no admittance to the venue without an accreditation.
