RENDERING GUT CUTTER
MO D E L : GC3 GU T CU T T E R
OO VV EE RR VV II EE WW ::
The GC3 Gut Cutter is a heavy duty machine designed to rapidly reduce the size of soft offals and similar materials in the rendering industry, they are also extensively used in the commercial fishing industry.
The cutting edges inside the machine are aligned to a very close tolerance, providing a clean sharp cut rather than a shearing action used in other similar machines. The shearing action of similar machines is not suited for use on soft materials.
GC3 Gut cutters can be supplied as bareshaft machines (as per image this page) or as a complete turnkey item, including a drive motor, couplings, flywheel and baseframe. In marine conditions, we recommend a special order of a galvanized body GC3 Gut Cutter, and can supply hydraulically operated models.

The No5 Melter is a heavy duty machine designed to rapidly cook all forms of rendered material. It has also successfully been used in other industries for various drying operations. The No5 Melter has both a Steam heated shaft and a Steam heated jacket, for maximum efficiency. Jackets are normally lagged with 50mm of insulation after machine installation.
The No5 Melter has the advantage over continuous cooker style units, in that as a closed vessel, pressure can be built up during the cook cycle which speeds the cooking process. Continuous cookers normally only operate at atmospheric pressure.
