A Message From Our President, Suzanne . . . . . .
As we close out the year, membership renewal forms have been sent out. Your renewal is due by January 1, 2018. Barbara Ward will be working on updating our member directory for 2018. Send your renewal checks in ear-ly so you will be included in the new Directory and can continue to enjoy all your favorite Activity Groups.

Thank you to all the 2017 Board members for all your work and support to make this last year so much fun. Linda Lee and Ann Clarke are leaving the Board this coming year and we will miss them.
Save the Date! Our next special event will be Sunday, February 11th, as we enjoy brunch at the Radisson in Santa Maria. The new member directories will be handed out, Activity Chairpersons and the new 2018 Board Mem-bers will be introduced.
The next Board Meeting will be January 18th at the home of Teri Ruiz. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Teri.

Activities, Anyone?
BUNCO: Bunco Group 2 has openings. They play on the 2nd Monday of each month at 1:00 at the Black Lake Community Room. Call Carlene Street at 343-1177 Also Evening Bunco Group 1, which plays the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm has openings for next year. Please contact Carol Bowen at 343-2627 or [email protected] TGIFI meets the first Friday of the month at 5:30 pm at members’ homes. This group has openings for new members. Contact Suzanne Miller Women’s Hiking Group Hits the Trail Again in
January If you need to break in those new Hi Tecs or dust off the old, the women’s hiking group cordially in-vites you to join us when we resume our hiking schedule in January. We will be hiking the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month so save the dates – January 8th and 22nd. We meet at the trailhead at 8:30 am. Locations will be announced in December.
Our hikes are usually 3-6 miles and rated easy to moderate so don’t be intimidated! This is a great way to work off those holiday calories. For more information, call, text, or email Deb Sherry at 916-903-8030/[email protected]
