Introduction

SHE is a popular band in China, especially teenagers. They were being known in 2000, as their record is excellent, then a large people knew them. They were famous from that special moment. The next year, then had many different kinds of prize, they made a success. And in that time, their songs are deep in the heart. Then they are famous until now. During these years, they also published their own book, such as SO YUNG, LOVE AGAIN and so on. It is a good way that let us know them better. In the fact, they not only are singers, but also are actors. They have played in varies of TV play series.


AOI (Areas of Interaction) This project relates to Community and Service because this project i need to have a lot of time to communicate with my client, and i should service for them, so the community is so important. And the service is also important.


Interview1.What kind of audiences do you need? I think each person is okay. Because I hope many different kinds of ages people can listen our songs. But perhaps the teenagers are the best one, as they are in fashion and it is easy for them to accept new things.

2.Which 5ield that you hope do better? We hope we can do better in writing and hope many people know us better and deeper. We are going to read book about ourselves.

3. Do you want to publish the new record this year?

Yeah, we want to do it. But we do not sure the exact time of it. In this time, we make a big change. So you can feel something different and can give you another feeling.

4. What do you want me to do?

We think you can do something that can help us to promote our band. And we hope you promote our the whole new record,too.

5.Do you have some planning for the next year? We think we will publish a new book for the next year. Perhaps it is a long story about our life. Hoping it can make a success.


From the interview with my client, I know my client want me to help them to promote band, book, record and so on. And they hope it can make a big success. They hope teenagers may become the main audience, because it is easy for them to accept new things.And they also want to publish the new record this year, they have made a big change, so it can give us the new feeling which is different before.And this year they want to publish a new book, so they wanna this book can lead a deep impression in people’s memory.

Case Study summary I was searching the 3 ways for my clients for promoting their band. And I also hope it can let people understand them deeply, know their songs better and interested in their shows in TV. Although these three ways in different Qields, the purpose of them which for promoting them. And Case Study give me a lot of help, as it helps me to know many things what I need to do.

Form I think all of those are popular ways to promote band, because in our daily life, we often touch them, so it can make us easy to know them and interested in the content of them, so it is a simply way to attractive audience’s attention.

Style Style is very important, as only we have good content and attractive style, then we can improve our audience rating, the band will be know by much people.


Summary of the Researches

I concentrate my researches on Form and Style, because I think they are important. From my point of view, If you do not put you eyes on these, it is hard to promote them, as you must know people what they are interested in. We only have the fetching style and interesting form, then we can attract audience’s attention. And good content is also important, if you do not have this, it is just a nominal thing. Form is the key, as when we have popular form, then much people will see it. For example, we watch the TV nearly every day, so if your style is attractive, perhaps much people will see it, so i also think they are interactional.

I will design and create attractive content about TV shows, posters and websites for my clients to promote band. This product will be made as step by step of the design circle, which are investigation, design, plan, create and evaluation. The product will start to

do when investigation, design and plan have been done, as there are many things we should do before we start to create the product. After Qinishing it, I will evaluate it, then show it to my clients.

ContentIn this project, I will make the content attractive and colorful, the reason i did it because only the content are good, then much people will see it.

To test to the forms I have chosen are appropriate, I will do many different kinds of content.

TimeThis project includes investigation, plan, design, create and evaluation. And the ‘create’ part will take me about around 4 weeks, but it depends on which part i progress.

Summary of investigation

✴The interview was done with my client. they tell me what they want and what they need. The content of that are very clear, and very colorful, so I know they want me to promote them.

✴The introduction about them which I found on the Internet are brief and wide. And it is easy for audience to know them deeply.

✴There are three different ways in the case study. All of them gave me a lot of help, for example, it can help me know cost of them, what i should do and what i need to find, etc.

✴I will be following my specification to do my project. And the test will help me make sure that the project are perfect, so it is very important for me.

✴The brainstorming also do me a great favor, as it help me to have many different ways about this project, and wide my mind, rich my idea, then i will have many different ways to think about it.

Summary of the Designs

Design 1- The age of the target group is teenagers, so they almost always play the computer in the internet, so it is an important information for me. And If you made something different things about them, the audience will think they are special, then the audience will be interested in them.

Design 2 - This design not only show the basic things about them, also show their music. It can let us know what the kind of music they usually play and how many albums they have published. It can help us know the music about them deeper.

Design 3- This design is about the storyboard, so i should write the story about them. This design is talked about what were they doing in the HK. If we do it, i think it will make a success, because the HK is nearly an international city, there are much different countries people there, so if we make it good, it will attract some people to know them.

Design 4- This storyboard is talked about how they help the disaster area, it shows how did they do in the society. So it can help them to improve their popularity.


Design 5-This design is the poster, it is attractive because it has a good atheistic.It also show the information on it. And the poster also can let a lot of people know it, because it can attach nearly everywhere.It can help them let much people know them

Design 6- This poster shows they will have the perform around the end of this month. It also shows the instrument which they will play. But i think if add some songs and some secret thing about them at performance times, it could be better.And it also attractive people’s attention, because they will have performs i think a lot of people will go there.

EVALUATION


Evaluating My Performance at Each Stage of the Design CycleInvestigation - The Investigation is the first stage of the Design Cycle. And I did a lot of things in this stage, like Introduction, Interview, Case Study, Research, the specification and the brief of the design. All those what I did is for reaching the require of the client, for reaching the purpose of the promotion. And the Investigation is also helped me a lot before I kept doing it. And this stage is also help me to know which step I need to do, which step that I need to think about, and which step that I need to ignore.

Design- The is stage is the important one in the Design Cycle, because it will affects the final result of the promotion. If you design it very well, then you can attract a lot of people’s attention. But if you do not, the result may be will disappoint you. So, It is very important. Duration of the design, if you give your product pros and cons, it also can help you to notice the advantage of one product and the disadvantage of one product. It is easy to choose one as your final product.

Plan- In this stage, you will show the plan about your product. So you need to plan how to use time exactly. And you also need to know how many steps you need to use in this stage. At last, I think the Gantt Chart can help you to know what’s the time is useful for you, and what’s the time is waste for you.

Create- When I were doing it, I wrote the every step in the blog everyday. That can help me to use time in every class efficiently. That can exactly show me this class what I need to do, what I need to change in the class. And this stage also help me to know what’s the plan in this class. So, it was very helpful.


Evaluate- This stage let me have a conclusion about the design circle. And I evaluate every step before this in the assessment. When I was doing the evaluate that I noticed there are some disadvantages. For example, My final product is the poster which I make it on my own. But I think it is not very good as I imagine so far, the expression of the poster is not very attractive and the words in the poster has a little boring I think. But all in all, I evaluate it and it is the first time to do it, I think I can do much better at next time.

To the content of my product, I think I will it will make a success. And I also will ask my client whether they think it works or not. I also survey by asking couples of people.

√Because the content of the product is VOCAL CONCERT. In the fact, a lot of people have a big crush on it, so it must be attract people.

Time I will done all of those by the deadline. √

I have made a Gantt Chart, so I will make the process as the time in the Gantt Chart. But the Gantt Chart just what I planed. If there are some time less or extra, I think it will be fine, we can fill these time by improving the design Circle.

Aesthetics The aesthetics of the my product is good. √

I think the aesthetics of my product is fine. But I think if give me more time, I can make it better. All in all, I think it is good, because it is the first time that I do it, I think I will do it better at next time.

√During the process of making the poster, I decided to use what kind of the content, I choose the VACAL CONCERT finally. Because I think there will have a lot of people love it.


Successful Points of product

I think the most successful point of product is investigation. This stage took me a lot of time to do it. But it was worth. A lot of stuffs in the investigation help me to make a good base when I was going to do the other stage in the design circle. In this stage, I had a conversation with my client, so I knew what they really want. And I also made case study, specification and design brief, I think all of them all important.

Least Successful points of product

The least successful point of product is design. Although I went through all the designs which I have made. But I still think there are somethings are not good. For example, the pros and cons is not very well. In general, I also think the aesthetic of my product can improve a lot

In my opinion, there are a lot of things of product still can improve. For example, I think the form and aesthetic of my product can become more prettier, more attractive than before. Maybe if give me more long time, I can change my mind about the product, then it perhaps will looks better than before.

Client and Peer to Peer



The impact to the Society and the EnvironmentSociety- I think the impact can effect the society, but it is not durative. I think it just a fashion. Perhaps at that moment which we will have already published the poster. But it just is the popular issue at that moment.

Environment- I think the impact to the environment is paper. I think it will effect the environment, because my product is the poster, there are a lot of paper will be used. If the wind blow posters out of the wall, there will have paper pollution.
