Nikolai Popov (biography) Nikolai Popov was born in Belebei, Bashkortostan republic. He graduated from Ufa musical colledge . He graduated from Moscow State Conservatory and completed postgraduate studies of the Moscow State Conservatory. His compositions won awards in Russia and other countries: 1st prize on the I National Schnittke composition competition (Russia); Gran-prix , 2nd and 3rd prizes on the International Zolotarev composition competition (New-York, USA); 1st prize on the II National Schostakovich composition competition (Russia); 4th prize on the II International composition competition "Petya i Volk" (Russia); 1st prize on the International Dvorak composition competition (Prague, Czech Republic). Attended master classes given by Russian and foreign composers such as Ivan Fedele, Allen Gossen, Franck Bedrossian, Mark Andre, Rodion Shchedrin, Boris Tishchenko and others. His music is played in concerts and at festivals held in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Czechian, American, Russian and Ukrainian cities ("New music - New reality", ”Moscow Autumn”, "Percussion days of Mark Pekarsky", "Exposition XXI", "Creative Youth of Moscow

Nikolai Popov (biography)

Nikolai Popov was born in Belebei, Bashkortostan republic. He graduated from

“Cantando".
