What does AIESEC have to offer?

Personal Leadership Development

AIESEC provides you with the opportunity to devel-op yourself as a leader. For some this means giving trainings, for others it can be becoming self-aware. Whatever you want to de-velop, AIESEC gives you the chance to do so.

Professional Development

Every half year we have a National Conference in a castle, AIESEC’s partners provide us with professional trainings. AIESEC’s national partners include McKinsey, BCG, Randstad, Rabobank, PWC, Heineken and many more.

Team Experience

As part of one of the four teams you’ll have a whole lot of good times. You work together on a functional lev-el, you’ll have weekly team meetings and you’ll have

regular fun activities.

...and a whole lot of fun!

During your year you’ll go on three weekends with the entire LC, two national conferences, and possibly even an interna-tional AIESEC conference. Next to that, we have weekly drinks, the possibility to join for lunch every day, national events and dinners with the entire LC and trainees!

What is AIESEC?

AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. We are a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national / social origin.

Since we were founded in 1948, we have engaged and developed over 1,000,000 young people who have been through an AIESEC experience. The impact of our organisation can be seen through our alumni who represent business, NGO and world leaders, including one Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Martti Atisaari of Finland.

Local Committee member - Part-time positions

At our local office we work with motivated and ambitious students in four different teams. Each of the teams has a different focus, but we are all working together towards the same goals. On a daily basis, we run our processes, we talk to students and to companies, we write strategy, we talk to the AIESEC network, we send and receive students to and from all around the world, we organize events and of course, we have a lot of fun. In AIESEC, we work hard and we play hard! As a part time board member, you will spend an average of 15-20 hours a week on AIESEC starting January 2018. You spend this time working in your team or function and on working with AIESEC in general and the other teams.

Marketing

The marketing team is responsible for finding students that are interested to go abroad with AIESEC for a Global Volunteer, Global Talent, or Global Enterpreneur. As a member of the team, you do this by setting up partnerships, doing lecture talks and being present at relevant events. It also involves some content creation, like designing a poster or Facebook post.

Outgoing Global Talent and Enterpreneur

The oGET team works on helping Dutch students find internships abroad, in either an established organisation or a start up. As a member of the team, you try to facilitate as many high quality internships as possible. You coach these students and help them with their résumés, job interviews and preparation.

Outgoing Global Volunteer

The oGV team focuses on leadership experiences through voluntary projects. These projects are all connected to one of the UN’s SDGs. As an EP Manager you guide a number of students with helping find and arrange the perfect project. As a Nour Manager you run the national product of Nour, created to bridge the gap between the Arab and the Western culture.
