COMO PLANETARIUM PROGRAMS Student-centered lessons designed by experienced educators. Explore ‘orbit’ and ‘inertia’ with short film clips, and a live tour. We will find gravity at work all across the galaxy. This program is designed to address middle school space standards for these concepts. Why do we have seasons? See Earth from space to enhance student- understanding and address academic standards. We will also launch off of Earth and tour the solar system with updated imagery, information and current scientific mysteries in astronomy. Choose between a one-hour live tour or viewing the film, ‘Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity’ with a half-hour live tour. Stars, galaxies, and the nature of the universe will be included in the tour. We will explore some of the darkest mysteries in the universe and travel beyond our own galaxy. MIDDLE SCHOOL HIGH SCHOOL CONSTELLATION TOUR Seasonal Star Gazing (short film) along with a live educator to guide you through the sky. Learn how to identify stars and constellations with a variety of readily available tools. Cosmic Colors film explores the light spectrum plus more (30 minutes). Then a live educator will guide your group to identify special objects in the sky (red giants, other galaxies and more).
