Camera shot, angle and movement: The camera was quite still for most of the short film and the movement often came from the action in front of the camera rather than the camera moving.

There were many close ups in order to keep the camera away from the rest of the house which means that the person with the knife could be anywhere in the house. This builds tension as she could attack at any time.

Lighting:The lighting was used to convey danger in this short film. When the woman was hiding in the cupboard there was a bit of light she could see through the gap of

the door. However, as the masked killer got closer she blocked off the ray of light conveying that she will cause danger as she causes darkness.

The film is also dark through out the whole short film, which create tension as it is hard to see what is happening and also darkness conveys evil.
