Lekki Beach, Lagos Lekki beach is the foremost beach along the Lekki peninsula. It is located a few miles from the city center. It is a beach that remains popular to foreign tourists. Beach shelters made of palm fronds and umbrellas are available for rent to keep the sun at bay as well as provide a place to enjoy snacks or refreshments sold by local traders. Eleko Beach, Lagos Eleko is down the Lekki peninsula, about 30 miles from Lagos city. Eleko beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Lagos. Fun seekers and holiday makers find the atmosphere refreshing, soothing and for relaxation. The beach is peaceful, clean, tranquil and ideal for privacy. Bar Beach, Lagos Bar beach also known as ‘Victoria beach’ is the most popular beach among Nigerians especially during the festive periods. The main beach is on Victoria Island. Lekki Beach, Lagos

other. The beach has over the years become a hot spot. The beach derived its name

from the kuramo Lake that borders it.

Kaiyetoro Maiyegun Beach, Lagos The beach is within the Maiyegun Tourism zone of Eti Osa Local Government

Area of Lagos State. The beach is important for relaxation spree. The beach hosts

the popular Lekki sun splash musical concert.

Akodo Beach, Lagos Akodo beach is one of the most visited beaches in Lagos, equipped with modern

facilities such as amusement park, tennis courts, multi, purpose hall, well furnished

chalets, swimming pool, bar/restaurant and a private security network. It is located

in Akodo village which is 45 minutes drive from Victoria Island. It is also referredto as Eko Tourist Beach Resort which is privately managed.

Epe Beach, Lagos Epe beach is located in the coastal area of Epe. The beach is a good spot for picnic

and refreshment because of its tranquility.

Coconut Beach, Badagry, Lagos The coconut beach also known as Suntan beach/Badagry beach is a beautiful

beach in the coastal town of Badagry, West of Lagos. The beach is attractively set

in an area surrounded by coconut trees. The beach is about 20 miles towards the

border of Nigeria and the Republic of Benin. The coconut beach is accessible

through the Lagos – Badagry expressway.

Hermitage Garden Beach Resort, Tiye Village Lagos

Paradise Wonder Beach, Cross River State This is a picturestique wonder beach that can best be compared with the beaches

Calabar Beach, Cross River State The beach is superb and is at the mouth of the new Calabar River. The beach is

about 2 miles long and 500 feet wide. The beach is virtually isolated and lends

visitors the luxury of privacy in a beautiful setting off the beaten path. Since thebeach is flanked by a swamp and can only be reached by boaster canoe, getting

there is half the fun and enhance one’s fascination with this enchanted locale.

Abraka Beach Resort, Abraka, Delta State The beach resorts is located in the quiet University Town of Abraka, on the bank 

of River Ethiope, the crystal clear river which is fed by a spring, flow through a

forested area. The Abraka Beach River Resort has a white sandy beach on the river

with tables and umbrellas and you can ride on a local canoe. The water is safe for

swimming and is so clear that you can see the fish at the bottom between 3-5m

Bomadi Beach Party Resort, Bomadi, Delta State The bomadi beach is arty resort is on the fascinating sand banks of the Niger

located at Bomadi in Bomadi Local Government headquarter. The beach is

Asaba Beach, Asaba, Delta State 

Asaba beach is the golden sand banks of the Niger River which is a sight to beholdespecially during the dry season. It is a site for picnics, refreshment and relaxation.

Escarvo Beach, Escarvos, Delta State Escarvo beach is an exciting and popular site for relaxation and organizing of 

picnics. The beach is located at the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Port Harcourt Tourist Beach Rivers State Located on an artificial sand beach along kolabi creek east of the old township is

this leisure hub with bush-bar restaurant which offer palm wine, local dishes and

entertainment with a jetty , a restaurant, a wildlife display, museum and games

room, it is a popular spot for picnics.

Finima Beach, Rivers State Finima beach is located in a small town of finima in Bonny Island surrounded by

long stretches of beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The beach is patronized by

expatriates working in Nigeria NLNG plant and locals for picnic, relaxation and

refreshment.

Ibeno Beach, Akwa Ibom State This is a beautiful sand beach which stretches to James Town on the Atlantic,

providing recreational, facilities with excellent opportunities for water sporting.Other impressive beaches are at Eket, Ikot Abasi, Adada, Nwaniba, Uta, Ewa and

Oron.

Azumini Blue River and Beach, Abia State The Azumini blue river is in Azumini town, Ukwo-East LGA of Abia State

towards boundary with Akwa Ibom State. The river is unique because of its

sparkling blue river which is surrounded by fine sands and glassy stones. By the

river banks are beautiful beaches which provide pleasant places for leisure, fishing,

boating, yachting and skiing. There are relaxation facilities as chairs and tables. At

the beach barbeque grills and delicacies are provided for picnickers. The river is

about thirty minutes drive from Aba, through Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway.

Turn left at Ukwa West junction to Azumini.

Unwana Sand Beach, Ebonyi State 

This beach is respectively located at Unwana in Afikpo North LGA. The beach is

part of extensive scenic golden sand beaches along cross River basin. It is an ideal

centre for relaxation, sun bathing, swimming, sport fishing, canoe racing,

yatchting, Uwana beach is accessed from Abakaliki to Afikpo.

Ndibe Sand Beach, Ebonyi State Ndibe beach is located in Ndibe in Afikpo-North LGA. The beach is also part of 

extensive golden sand beaches along Cross River basin. It is an ideal centre for

relaxation, sport fishing, swimming, sun bathing, yatchting, canoe racing, Ndibe

beach is accessed from Abakaliki through Amuro/Mgbom round about in Afikpo.

Other beaches are Ozi zza, Kpoghiri Kpo all in Afikpo-North LGA.
