States of a product:
Named states: operating states, fault states, repair status
Activities performed by a product
Embedded support functions (diagnostics, BITE etc).
Activities (work, tasks) by people or machines acting on a product( asses impact, design, manufacture, test, repair, move etc)
Operational behavior (functions, I/O, sequence etc.)
States of activities: off/on, started, paused, step 3 completed
States of environment: windy, acidic, peacetime, transatlantic operations
States of people: available, trained to skill level 4, occupied
