As a designer of the landscape, I believe there is a heavy responsibility and obligation both to the people involved and to the

land itself.

All landscapes are made up of layers that are woven together with narrative. It is the narrative of the landscape that gives depth and meaning to all landscape designs and it is up to the designers of the landscape to capture the essence of these narratives to reveal the

genius loci - the spirit of place.

My personal goal that I bring to each and every project I encounter is to expose the genius loci through my design.
