Our frameworks provide quality assurance, and our suppliers are audited regularly. It’s important to us that we maintain integrity in our work.

• Our dedicated sourcing team ensure all our procurement activity adheres to Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR15)

• Our suppliers are audited regularly by our appointed accreditation body - Support, Training & Services Ltd (STS)

• We are improving access to product information relevant to Government Buying Standards for Food (GBSF) so that NHS Trusts can be more informed, and buy sustainably.

As a result, our team of 60 dedicated staff have created tailored services that answer to the needs of NHS trusts

and hospitals.


Our Biggest Priority


A new approach to support growthTrusts across England have a range of requirements, and we need frameworks to match. This particular framework used to be very limited to just a handful of suppliers and a narrow range. We want to support improved retail spaces in healthcare environments, and have competitive options. After engaging closely with trusts throughout the process to better understand what was needed, and also with existing and possible new suppliers, awards have been made and we are in the launch period.The result includes some innovative solutions, with recycling schemes and 24-hour food vending, as well as bespoke financing methods such as leases and rentals.Due to launch November 2020.

Multi-Temperature Distribution (MTD)

After a thorough tender process we are delighted that Bidfood are our distribution partner for this model.

They are the wheels that will deliver MTD products to NHS trusts across

the country, and benefit from vast experience and a swift

resolution service.

• When a trust signs-up, we run an analysis on purchase history and create a bespoke dashboard which lists potential savings and products.

• Any switches are analysed by our in-house culinary experts, and dietetics and nutrition team, and rated.

• From day one there will be the convenience of one order, one invoice, one delivery.
