ABOUT ISNEE

"Indian Society of New Era Engineers"is an organization for students focusing on the technical and

managerial development of future engineers. It gives the opportunity to the undergraduate and

diploma engineers to research and develop innovative projects and inspires them to imagine.Events

organized by ISNEE give students a chance to form teams and to work for a common goal with a team

spirit and to demonstrate and prove both their creativity and their engineering skills in comparison to

the teams from other Universities/Colleges across the country.

National Go Kart Championship-It is a competition to bring and enhance good engineering approachand practice for graduating and diploma students in engineering. The competition is basically to design

and fabricate a Go-Kart in extremely low budget followed by a competition of the selected teams. The

Project is to be completed by the students without direct/indirect involvement of the professionals,

which will lead them towards team work and project management. The event consists of two stages:

1- Pre Final Round Presentation of design and design reports)

In PFR, all the registered teams need to research and develop a design of the vehicle to bemanufactured and also to prepare various design reports and analysis on the designed vehicle. Teams

need to present all the research and development work in front of the judges. The judges will interview

the team members and decide their existence in the next level which is Final Round.

2- Final Round Various tests and race)

All the qualifiers of PFR will manufacture their Karts in their respective campus and on the event dates,

all teams will be on the track for various static and dynamic tests like Technical Inspection, Brake Test,

Acceleration Test, Skid-Pad Test and many more. On the basis of the test results, winner will bedecided.

Bangalore Institute of technology is being represented by our team, APOLLO, in ISNEE s

National Go Kart Championship 2014. Our team is comprised of students studying Mechanical

engineering and Industrial Engineering Management, working together to design and fabricatea go kart in coherence with the guidelines laid down by ISNEE for this years NGKC event. This

provides us a platform for not only innovation, but also implementation of the theoretical

knowledge being amassed during our undergraduate course, giving us practical experience in

our respective fields. Our team is synonymous with innovation, hard work and

professionalism.Our team includes freshers, new to the

competitive experience, and veterans who

have been representing our college thelast 3 years in various national and

international competitions. Our team

includes members who have taken part in

the following events:

SAE Efficycle

Team Firehawks

SAE FSE Germany Team BIT FR

ISNEE NGKC 2013 Team Kratos

Over 200 teams from colleges across India registered for NGKC this year. We were among the 102

teams that qualified with an all india rank -42 for the final round. The final round will be held at Kari

Motor Speedway, Coimbatore on 17th19thOctober, 2014.
