Overview

NFHelp Responder is a comprehensive Mobile CAD and tracking solution that runs on a smartphone or tablet device. Seamlessly integrated with NFHelp Dispatcher, Responder enables public safety and security field users to: access and share critical information; indicate availability and response statuses; instantly communicate with dispatchers as well as other mobile users; self-dispatch; and fill out reports. The user interface is easy to navigate, uses public safety terminology and graphics and can also include custom logos. Additionally, Responder is capable of being white-labeled - enabling an organisation to have their own branded application.

Availability & Transportation Status Updates NFHelp Responder features availability and vehicle status options. Selecting a status simultaneously updates the Dispatcher and the organisation’s recommended response unit protocols.

Availability ●Online – The user/unit will be seen as on-duty/available for a response and is shown on the Dispatcher’s map. Additionally, online users will be considered for a response using NFHelp Auto-Dispatch. ●Static – This mode enables a Responder to turn off live tracking and anchor to a specific location. The location and status is displayed in the dispatcher. ●Offline - Selecting this status removes the Responder User from the map and available units list. Offline users are not considered by NFHelp Auto-Dispatch for a response.

Transportation: Selecting a mode of transportation (i.e. in-vehicle, on-foot) will:

● Update the Dispatcher Unit availability list; ● Be incorporated in NFHelp Auto-Dispatch rules; ● Automatically adjust the ETA shown to the dispatcher

when responding to an incident.

Integrated SOS Button Built into the main dashboard, the SOS slide button is easily accessible if the Responder user encounters a dangerous situation. When activated: ● A priority incident and audible warning is generated within NFHelp Dispatcher; ● A Live video and audio stream will be established the Dispatcher; ● Other Responder’s, based upon response protocols, can automatically be notified; ● The device will perpetually stream location updates to the dispatcher and other responder users.

The distress signal can be transmitted in silent or regular mode, and if desired, simply by opening the app.

Smart Messages & Alerts The NFHelp system enables the Dispatcher to send Responders alerts and administrative notifications. The alerts can be sent to all users in the organisation or to any sub-group based on their current location (if enabled) and a variety of other grouping parameters.

The Smart Alert is bidirectional - the Dispatcher can view in real-time the statuses of the alert: have the Reporters’ devices received the message? Have they been read? Additionally, the Smart Notification enables the person receiving the alert to reply either with a text message or by choosing from a predefined multiple-answer list (i.e. “staging, awaiting instructions”).

All user replies are aggregated and presented to the Dispatcher and supervisors in real-time assisting the organisation to rapidly make decisions.

Silent Reporting & Self Dispatch NFHelp Responder enables users to silently report new incidents from from the field.

● Location - The user can create the incident either at its current location OR (if configured to do so by Administrator) to create the incident at a different location with a simple auto-complete address.

● Incident description - The Responder app only features a list of predefined incidents.

○ This capability is dynamic and can be changed by an authorised administrator.

● Form - Each incident is attached to a corresponding customisable form which can be filled out when generating a new report. This form can include a wide range of field types including:

○ simple text fields ○ checkbox ○ radio button ○ photos ○ digital signature ○ location stamp ○ time stamp ○ pick from a dropdown list (either one or multi-select)

● Actions - based upon the Responder permission level, a user can decide what actions should take place as the incident is transmitted to the system:

○ Report only - this will add the incident and all its attached information to the Dispatcher. The Dispatcher can decide what to do with the information.

○ Self Dispatch - The incident and corresponding form data will be sent to the Dispatcher while simultaneously assigning the Responder to the incident.

○ Activate Auto-Dispatch protocol - After reporting an incident, the Dispatcher is notified and other Responders, based upon predefined response protocol, are automatically dispatched.

Incidents Journal Based upon permission level, Responder users can access a real-time list of open incidents. This list can be organised or filtered based upon: current response statuses; time of dispatch; priority; and/or geographic proximity to current location. A detailed overview of an incident can be viewed by selecting it from the list. If authorised, a user can interact with other Responders on an incident using a chat/log tool.

Situational Map Overview If authorised, a Responder user has access to a comprehensive map featuring the following data:

● Saved/known physical locations (Point of Interests) ● Live Location of other Responder Users or Integrated

AVL system ● Geo-Coded incident locations

Silent Dispatch NFHelp Responder is seamlessly integrated into NFHelp Dispatcher. If selected for a response using either Auto-Dispatch or manual selection, NFHelp Responder will automatically generate an audible alert and display the following critical information:

● Incident Type ● Incident Priority ● Active elapsed time clock from when the

incident was opened in NFHelp Dispatcher

● Location ● Location Comments ● Map displaying current user location and

the incident location ● Caller Name and Phone Number ● Last status update

NFHelp Responder is also fully interfaced with most navigation applications including Waze, Google Maps and OsmAnd.

Resource & Incident Information As incidents progress and are updated by units, dispatchers and call takers, the most up-to-date information is automatically reflected in the NFHelp Responder Application. This data includes: - Incident type & Priority - Location - Caller Name and Phone Number - Resources Assigned to the Incident and their current response status

Additionally, preloaded geographical data such as HAZMAT sites with emergency contacts can be instantly accessed from the Responder App.

Response Status Notification Once an incident is received, the Responder app user can select a response status which will automatically update the NFHelp Dispatcher and NFHelp Logs. Default statuses include:

● Acknowledge ● Enroute ● On-Scene ● Incident Complete

Custom statuses that require a message such as, Transporting - Suburban Hospital, can also be configured and only be available with pre-condition rules (i.e. can only make this status change if on-scene)

Predetermined, expected arrival and incident completion parameters (SLA - Service License Agreement) can be configured and automatically displayed within Responder. This information is colour coded and helps the user immediately determine if timing benchmarks have and will be met.

Incident Chat A dedicated and secure chat room is established for every incident in NFHelp. ● Dispatchers can generate priority messages ● Responder App users can message each other ● Each chat is logged and automatically included in the Incident Report ● The chatroom can be filtered to only display messages from: the dispatcher; other responder app users; or system/response status updates.

Live Video Live video can be streamed over most data networks (i.e. 3G, LTE, WiFi) from the Responder application to the Dispatcher. The user can choose when to begin streaming video at any stage throughout a response (acknowledge, enroute, on-scene). Additionally, Responder can be configured to automatically turn on live video when the SOS capability is activated.

Intelligent Tracking Responder can be configured to track and display a user current location within NFHelp Dispatcher as well as supervisor enabled Responder applications. Intelligent tracking utilises several modes:

● SOS: After activating the SOS function, location data perpetually transmits to the Dispatcher as well as other Responder applications.

● Routine: When not engaged in an incident, Responder sends location data only when: changing carrier or WiFi networks; significant change is detected or; the app is accessed.

● In-Incident: When assigned to an incident, location data is sent to the Dispatcher until the user is placed back in service.

Profile & Login Each user is assigned a custom profile and unique login credential. On the responder application one can view the following information:

- Control/Operations Centre Affiliation - Specialty Groups - Qualifications - Equipment carried with optional inventory availability

Users can also add emergency contacts as well change their password.
