Welcome to NEXxt,
I guess if there would be only one question you would be asking yourself, it would be what’s Next for me, what I’m going to do after my studies, what is the next AIESEC achievement I want to have, what would be my next role in my LC, where I would be moving next and who would be the next people I would share my life with. Well, to be honest I don’t have the answers.
But, all journeys have a start but not necessarily an end, we constantly deflect from our path, sometimes getting us closer to our goals or moving us towards other ambitions. It’s therefore a constant inner fight to decide what the best option for us is. That’s where we should get back to the one who knows us better than ourselves, and that one is the child inside us. Yeah, but here, someone would tell me, when I was a child I wanted to be a pirate or a prince, but now I’m grown up and I know that’s not possible. However, what we should think of is not what we wanted to be in life when you were a child, but rather how we wanted to feel, what kind of emotion we wanted to experience and for me, this is what is important in the journey we commonly call life.
This journey is an adventure and a never ending class with you as teacher. Once again, welcome to NEXxt, the place where Dreams are no more dreams and where the reality turns into a dream.

Conference Manager Message

At start a challenge an ambitious project. Enriching the
knowledge of AIESECers via conferences it’s a tradition. 5
years since AIESEC Mauritius is established in our
paradise. The changes it has brought in our citizens are
numerous. AIESEC is the most beautiful thing that could
happen to me. I can't remember how I was before I
joined AIESEC as I have been growing so fast that I never
had time to think about. My Experience in three years was full of ups and down
but I never gave up. Today, leading the organising team of the NEXxt Conference
2013, is a dream which is coming true.
You will not only get education but also many stories from our old members who
will share their awesome experience with you. Your first AIESEC Conference will
be always remembered. My Team and I have prepared many surprises for you.
Oldies too are not forgotten; to go deeper in AIESEC the conference team
prepared a special oldie track for you. In AIESEC you never stop learning and
never stop partying.
On behalf of my team, The Visionaries have the pleasure to invite you all
members of AIESEC Mauritius to join us on the 27th - 29th September 2013 for
the National Conference. Eager we are to meet you all...
Kind Regards Seekshah Mohunsing OCP NEXxt National Conference 2013
Organising Commitee Message

Throughout the year, AIESEC in Mauritius hosts three conferences to bring
together the members from across the different universities to discuss the future,
develop personal and professional skills, expand networks, and become better
prepared for the professional world.
To continue AIESEC work in the field of Youth Development, AIESEC is hereby
organising a 3 Day Conference – NEXxt Conference 2013, in order to develop and
explore leadership potential amongst youngsters which is the main core of all
AIESEC work. Almost 200 delegates from different universities (University of
Mauritius, University of Technology, Mauritius, Charles Telfair Institute,
MIDDLESEX University and MITD) would participate.
The objectives of this project are:
To empower the members and have a leadership pipeline to help them in
their professional career. It will also help them to have knowledge about
AIESEC, their roles and responsibilities along with deep functional
knowledge so that they can improve their practical learning in making them
leaders of tomorrow.
Inspire the youth to be ambassadors to their local communities and
encourage others to develop more sustainable lifestyles.
Encourage local communities to act as a model for the future generation like
using mostly recycling materials.
Expose the Mauritian society to other cultures and environmental issues
concerning mainly recycling in other.
