Your Masterclass Leader:David John Cummins joined the RAF in 1999 as a direct entrant. He attended Joint Elementary Flying Training (JEFTS),Basic Fast Jet Training (BFJT) and Multi-Engine Training (METS) before being selected to fly the Nimrod MR2 from RAFKinloss, Scotland. For four years he took part in several Operational Tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and a variety of otherISR related mission deployments and exercises consisting of: Anti-Surface Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Search andRescue, Counter-Piracy and Counter Drugs.

Cummins was selected to join the Combined Joint Predator Task Force late 2006; when he and his family moved to Nevada,USA. He Became an Operations Supervisor, Instructor and shortly after a Flight Commander on 15RS. During his time onthe Sqn, he deployed as the Lead UAV LNO for the USAF, and shortly after returning, became an Assistant Director ofOperations (ADO) and was awarded the coveted role of Safety Evaluation and Flight Examiner (SEFE).

In 2009 Cummins moved to 39 Sqn and converted to the MQ-9 Reaper, becoming an ACO, and Flight Authorizer. Cumminswas selected to be the first Reaper Pilot to attend the inaugural Qualified Weapons Instructor (QWI) Course. Cumminsfinished out his time on 39 Sqn as OC weapons and Tactics, before being selected as the lead pilot to stand-up the first UKbased MQ-9 Reaper Sqn (13 Sqn). He left the RAF with over 2800 hour flying across manned and unmanned platforms ofwhich 2000 hours were flown in combat missions. To this date Cummins is the only Reaper Pilot with the QWI ISRqualification.

Payment: If payment is not made at the time of booking, then an invoice will be issued andmust be paid immediately and prior to the start of the event. If payment has not beenreceived then credit card details will be requested and payment taken before entry to theevent. Bookings made within 7 days of the event require payment on booking.

Substitutions/Name Changes: If you are unable to attend you may nominate, in writing,another delegate to take your place at any time prior to the start of the event. Two or moredelegates may not ‘share’ a place at an event. Please make separate bookings for eachdelegate.

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your attendance at an event and you are unable to senda substitute, then we will refund/credit 50% of the due fee less a £50 administrationcharge, providing that cancellation is made in writing and received at least 28 days priorto the start of the event. Regretfully cancellation after this time cannot be accepted.

Alterations: It may become necessary for us to make alterations to the content, speakers,timing, venue or date of the event compared to the advertised programme.
