Saggese (SAG-ESSY) was arrested by the Somerset police during an undercover sting operation. Saggese (SAG-ESSY) met with the undercover officer twice, once on March 29, and once on April 17 to negotiate the sale of stolen computer equipment. The computer equipment is said to be used to mine for the electronic currency known as bitcoin. Bitconing mining is the process of solving certain math problems in exchange for the currency, reports say. Saggese (SAG-ESSY) also provided the undercover officer with information that is only supposed to be used for law enforcement purposes in exchange for two hundred fifty dollars. The information was taken from police data bases and included personal information such as addresses and photos of specific license plate holders. Saggese (SAG-ESSY) is currently suspended without pay, pending the final verdict of his case.

In national newsYesterday US warships have been deployed outside the coast of Yemen to monitor ships traveling the area that are suspected of illegally trafficking people, weapons or drugs. The US is monitoring the Iranian ships that are suspected of illegally trafficking these items to Houthi (HOOTHY) rebels. The move to monitor these ships is also said to assure US allies that are in that region. However at the moment the US does not have the authority to forcibly board any Iranian ships. The first two US ships to set off the coast of Yemen were The Roosevelt aircraft carrier and the guided missile destroyer, The USS Normandy. Now there are currently a total of nine US ships that are set off of the coast of Yemen. When questioned about the use of his military ships Flotilla Admiral Habibollah Sayyari (HABBY-OOLAA-SAY-YARRI), the commander of Irans navy said his fleet was within operating legally. "We don't let anyone give us warnings and threats, because we are working according to international law and regulations," Sayyari (SAY-YARRI) said. This is ultimately the United States plan for trying to stop the Iranian rebel group, the Houthi (HOOTHY). President Obama is taking the necessary precautions to handle this situation delicately.

In other national newsYesterday, April 20th, also known by many as 4-20 (FOUR-TWENTY) is a good time to examine the powerful impact that legalizing marijuana has had for states like Colorado, Washington as well as the District of Columbia. Brian Rogers and Caitlin McGuire are your typical small business owners, polite, friendly and hardworking; there is just one thing that sets them apart from most other small businesses in the country, they run their own marijuana dispensary in Colorado. The couple previously operated as a medical marijuana facility before the state legalized the plant for recreational purposes. The dispensary is called Breckenridge Cannabis Club, in Breckenridge Colorado. The couple is looking to change the nations opinion on marijuana users as well as marijuana shop owners by proving that cannabis and capitalism can co-exist. On the first day of recreational legalization in Colorado the couple took in a total of $47,000 (FOURTY SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS), roughly 30 times their usual amount. Even though marijuana is still a schedule 1 drug on a federal level, along with heroin and LSD, the couple is making strides to change the nations opinion on the plant.

In other national newsA Utah mother has pleaded guilty to the killing of her six babies whom she killed right after birth. Megan Huntsman, 40, pleads guilty to six counts of murder and is being sentenced to 30 years in prison before she will be eligible for parole. Police eventually found the bodies of seven infants. Huntsman told police that she would strangle or suffocate the infants using a shirt or a towel, and then individually wrap up each baby then separated them within different cardboard boxes. DNA test proved that West was the biological father for each of the infants, yet he claims he was unaware of each of the pregnancies. Huntsman ultimately blamed her actions on methamphetamine use, then alcohol abuse and depression. "I cannot give a reasonable answer why I was capable of such a sick and heinous crime. I held my secret for 18 years," Huntsman said.

In international newsThe Islamic terrorist group ISIS is now in complete control of the people in the Islamic States in Iraq and Syria. Since ISIS has taken over, they have essentially become a small running government. They are still in complete control of the Islamic States but they are willing to give the citizens much more freedom than previous terrorist groups such as the Taliban. ISIS sees themselves as a self-governing state that is operating under a rule of law, however their punishment methods are still barbaric in nature. ISIS has control over vaccinations, fishing schedules, and even rent disputes. CNN reports that ISIS is reopening the University of Mosul and is even allowing women to attend school up to the age of 15. This is a major difference when compared to the other terrorist group the Taliban, which did not allow schooling for any women. ISIS is essentially trying to prove that they are capable of bringing stability to these Islamic States while upholding their belief of Islamic fundamentalism.(Play PSA#1 here)

In other sports newsAtlanta Braves pitcher, Andrew McKirahan (MICK-KEARAHAN) is suspended for 80 games by Major League Baseball after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. Testing positive is a violation of the leagues policy and McKirahan (MICK-KEARAHAN) is one of the many pitchers have tested positive for performance enhancing drugs in recent. McKirahan (MICK-KEARAHAN) is the third MLB pitcher to test positive this month along with New York Mets closer Jenrry Mejia (MEJEA), and Minnesota Twins starter Ervin Santana. It is still unclear how the moral for the Braves is being effected by McKirahans (MICK-KEARAHANS) suspension.
