NEWSLINE Summer 2019 ANCHOR LUNCHEON On June 22, 2019, the alumnae of Middle Georgia Alumnae Association of Delta Gamma celebrated summer at our annual Anchor Luncheon. We are extremely grateful to be able to share with you that Southeastern Guide Dogs (SGD) Puppy Raisers were part of the day. Valarie Ford, vp: finance, was a perfect hostess for our event and we thank her for sharing her home with us. Her anchor decorations were beautifully displayed. She pulled out her pledge dance glasses as table displays, so sweet. The day began with the puppy raisers telling us about their journeys with Southeastern Guide Dogs. It was very informative. They have a hub in Gray, GA with three raisers and would love to add to the group. MGAA made a $100 donation to the group. The organization is completely self-funded. Of course, we all had a magnificent lunch. After the raisers and the puppies left, we discussed upcoming recruitment and recommendation forms. Remember, there is information in the DeltaGamma.org library that can help with many topics. Special thanks to Jane Walker, vp: Foundations, for our awesome presentation from SGD. We look forward to partnering with them. Raise A Puppy, Change a Life Southeaster Guides Dogs transforms lives by creating and nurturing extraordinary partnerships between people and dogs. Each clear box contains a story book with extension activities for children with varying abilities. Kimberly asked that we choose stories that have repetitive language and that we include up to five activities. Jane Walker, vp: Foundations, will be working with our alumnae to complete the next story box. This summer our focus will be: Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.

FISCAL YEAR DUES (JULY 1, 2019 - JUNE 30, 2020)

Delta Gamma thrives and survives thanks to the time, talent and treasure of its members. If not for thecommitment of alumnae to assume lifetime membership in Delta Gamma, the Fraternity would not be able tocarry out the mission set forth by the Founders to "Do Good".
