    Information for the projectmeeting Recognition of learning at October 14-16.

    Event: Meeting of projectteams Recognition of learning in Scouting and GuidingParticipants: Projectleaders an their projectteams of NSGO's of Denmark, Portugal, Slovenia, Tjech

    Republic, France, Spain, Belgium and The Netherlands. Also representatives fromWOSM- and WAGGGS-Europe.

    Date: Friday 14 Sunday 16, May 2011Location: Environmental Training Scout Centre

    Start program: Friday 10, 20.30 hrs (8.30 PM)End program: Sunday 12, 10.30 hrs (1 AM)

    We will try to rent a bus on friday from the airport Francisco S Carneiro (OPO) to the Scoutcentre,wich will run once (at approximately 6 PM) or maybe twice only. Therefore we will need to have yourflightinformation. If you want or need to make your own travelplans to the centre, you need to travel toAveiro trainstation and take the bus and a short ferryboattrip from there (see the website for moreinformation).

    For sunday we will also try to arrange bustransport to the airport, around 10.30-11.00 AM.

    General program information:The goals we have set for this meeting:- getting to know eachother, networking- collecting feedback on each projectplan- exchange methods and ideas for carrying out the projectplans of each NSO/NGO- exchange information and methods about the different systems for competence development beingused

    - open space for questions, needs or subject participants would like to discuss

    The program starts at fridaynight 8.30 PM and lasts till sundaymorning 10.30 AM, please take this intoaccount when you book your flights.

    Things to bring:

    - Valid traveldocuments and personal belongings- The national projectplan for your projectteam- A copy of the system for competence development (if available)- There are beds with matrasses, blankets and pillows available at the Scoutcentre, but you need tobring your own sleepingbag and towels.

    Things to prepare:- A detailed projectplan (when this has not been made yet), incl. goals, results, steps to take incl.timeschedule, incl. a 10 min. presentation

    - A copy of the system for competence development, incl. a 5 min. presentation- Feedback on this newsletter about the topics/questions you would like to discuss during the weekend- A little native snack (of your country) to share on fridaynight- An 'energizer' to present to the group (this is a short 5 min. during activity to get the energy running

    into our minds and bodies)

    Refund of travelcosts:All your travelcosts will be refunded for 70%, including the bus- or traintickets to and from the airportand accommodation. The guidelines of Youth In Action for refunding are very strict. Please save allyour:- receits of payments by bank or otherwise- e-mailconfirmations of reservations of airplanetickets

    - tickets nd boardingpasses (make sure you don't throw them away!)

    Reminder:We still did not receive a declaration for the travelcosts from eacht country present in Denmark. Pleasesend this to me a.s.a.p.
