"A thingamajig!" Calling all inventors, let's get the juices flowing and start preparing, before we know it the Thingamajig Invention Convention will be here! Get your brain and imagination working by creating a new invention or finding a new use for an everyday item. You may even make something that doesnt have a name or doesnt want to have a name. Your imagination and creativity is your only limit! WHATS HAPPENING Welcome Parents! Invention allows children to exercise their imaginations and creativity, and Thingamajig acts as a way of introducing children into new perspectives. Thats why we have a variety of hands-on experiments and activities all geared to stimu- late their creativity. On Tuesday July 25th, the kids will be visiting The Living Computers Museum & Lab! We will explore their new main gallery! There they will have direct experiences with robotics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, self-driving cars, big , video game making, and digital art. On Wednesday July 26th, we will take an easy hike with a spectacular endpoint? Look no further than Franklin Falls! At just 2 miles roundtrip with 400 feet in elevation gain, it is the perfect destination for any hiker looking for something easy and beautiful. JULY 24-28, 2017 THIS WEEKS FIELD TRIPS
