NEWSLETTER TIPS

I don’t know about you but spellchecker is my best friend! Unfortunately, I rely on it more than I should. I find that because I’ve been so involved in something I’m writing that I couldn’t have possibly made any errors on it. I’ve read it over and over again so many times that I MUST have found any mistakes. If you believe that, I’ve got a bridge I can sell you!Lucky for me, my husband used to work for a major newspaper in the city where we live. Nothing goes out of the house until he has proofread it. But it’s not just his experience in the newspaper business that finds my errors. It’s just the fact that he is a reader with fresh eyes.

So remember, before you take your newsletter to the printer ask someone else to read it. Sometimes the smallest errors can be the most embarrassing!
