Just a f r i e n d l y reminder, that our F i t n e s s Class is scheduled for every Monday,
Wednesday & Friday at the Alan Clubhouse from 10:00am to 11:00am, at no cost to you. Come out and join our local fitness instructor Ms. Debbie along with her team as they demonstrate simple exercises that will stimulate your mind and body.
Labor Day in the United States is a public holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws and well-being of the country. It is the Monday of the long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend and it is considered the unofficial end of summer in the United States. The holiday is also a federal holiday.

Trash- Household trash must be disposed off in the respective dumpsters and trash chutes and not in the Receptacles in front of your buildings.
Balcony & Patios
Balcony & Patios - Balconies and patios must be kept clean and neat at all times. No rugs, towels, laundry, clothing, appliances or other items must be stored, hung or draped on railings or other portions of the balconies or patios. You are allowed small potted plant and small patio furniture.

Car Leaking Oil?
In an effort to keep this community looking its best, our leases specifically state that your car
needs to be in good running order. This means that it should not be leaking oil or other fluids. If your car has a leak, please make an appointment to get it fixed ASAP. Until then, there are several ways to remove oil stains from concrete: cat litter, dishwashing liquid, Simple Green and WD-40, to name a few.
Labor Day Fun Facts! - NWG II
Labor Day is Monday, September 4! Enjoy these fun facts, honoring American workers! Did you know that in the late 1800s,
workers often worked every day, upwards of 100 hours a week? Unsatisfied with these conditions, labor unions began lobbying for better working conditions. The Adamson Act was passed on September 3, 1916 to establish an eight-hour workday and time-and-a-half overtime pay for railroad workers. Nowadays, an eight-hour workday and forty-hour workweek set the standard for every industry.

Welcome Back to School to all our families. Pre K-College-bound your education is important.
HEF Management, LLC Community Properties celebrated by provided our children and teens with backpacks. Most sites had a cookout that may have
included the Police and other Community Organizations. The sites were able to receive donations, families volunteering their time, food and fun activities for our residents. I was able to attend most of the events and have to say it was a great time had by all.
Dr. Kennedy Homes had a family, Henrietta Smith and her son Ondara Smith, let’s call them Super Volunteers with the help they provide each year Dr. Kennedy Homes has had the backpack events. Mr. Smith had the most amazing bake beans!!! This office will continue to recognize our great families from other locations. I hope you enjoyed our Urban Farm Volunteers from last month; these are our families living in our community.
Enjoy your Labor Day Monday, September 4, 2017. This will be a long weekend; our business offices all will be closed.

DONT Be a Noisy Neighbor
At all times, keep the volume down on your TV and sound systems. Noise carries through walls and may disturb your neighbors.
If there’s anything worse than having a noisy neighbor, it’s realizing that you are the noisy neigh-bor. Nobody goes around intending to be overheard by strangers, but then one day a neighbor knocks on your door and complains about the sound of your footsteps on his ceiling or says he can hear you singing to your cat, and then there’s nothing to do but tiptoe around in socks and worry that all your neighbors hate you.
A little noise is inevitable in life, especially in apart-ment living. Maybe it’s the fault of your building’s paper-thin walls. But there are some steps you can take to continue living a normal life without letting your neighbors hear everything.

Back to School 2017
Our Back to School event this year was another success!! We gave
away school supplies, raffled backpacks, gift cards and more. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department even gave away free bikes to our kids!!! Special thanks goes out to our volunteer hairdressers and barbers that gave away free hairdos and haircuts to the kids; we appreciate you. Thank you Dixie Court residents for joining us, and we wish your kids a very successful school year!
