Information for the project meeting Recognition of learning at
June 8 - 10, 2012.
Event: Meeting of project teams Recognition of learning in
Scouting and GuidingParticipants: Project leaders an their project
teams of NSGO's of Denmark, Portugal, Slovenia,
Czech Republic, France, Spain, Belgium and The Netherlands. Also
representativesfrom WOSM- and WAGGGS-Europe and a special guest
from Scouts of Scotland.

Start program: Friday 8, 20.30 hrs (8 PM)End program: Sunday 10,

Program information:- Looking back at the goals we have set at
the start of this project and what has been achievedalready: "The
Art of Recognition".
- Inspiration by presentations of some successful (new) methods,
among which the achievements ofthe Scottish Scouts in establishing
formal recognition of competences learned in Scouting (by
RossDonald, educational officer for Scouts of Scotland).
- Exchange of ideas and methods for dissemination of the
information and results we collected in theproject so far.
- Looking forward to goals and ambitions after the project and
possibilities for future fund applications.
The program starts at Friday night 8.30 PM and lasts till Sunday
morning 11.00 AM, please take thisinto account when you book your
flights.
Things to bring:- Valid travel documents and personal
belongings- There are beds with mattresses, blankets and pillows
available at the Scout centre, but you need tobring your own
sleeping bag, pillowcase and towels.
Things to prepare:- A collage of 1 full page (A-4) in which you
reflect the results of this project for your organisation sofar.
You can use words, pictures, photographs, colours, etc. to make
this a real peace of Art!
- Just like in Portugal, we would like to ask you to prepare an
'energizer' to present to the group.
- a little snack to share with each other
Travel informationThe training centre is approximately 1hour and
15 mins. away from the main airport in Ljubljiana, butwe will try
to arrange transportation to the centre by van or bus (depending on
arrivals). For Sundaythere will also be arrangements for the
transport to the airport. You can find more information aboutthe

Refund of travel costs:All your travel costs will be refunded
for 70%, including the bus- or train tickets to and from the
airportand accommodation. The guidelines of Youth In Action for
refunding are very strict. Please save allyour:
- receipts of payments by bank or otherwise- e-mail
confirmations of reservations of airplane tickets- tickets nd
boarding passes (make sure you don't throw them away!)

Things to do:- Try to book your flights as soon as possible,
because the tickets will be much more expensive whenbooked in short
notice.
- As stated before, please let us know at which time your
flights arrive and depart from the airport.- Please let us know
whom will be present, so we can start preparing the meeting. Exact
names, \
arrival times and contact numbers (tel) are needed at least 2
weeks in advance.
