Wednesday 7th August—School Closure Day

Dear Parents and Carers,

It’s a sporting week at OLOL this week. Yesterday our netballers braved wet conditions to partici-

pate in the Knox Division finals, competing against local district finalists. Our team were competitive

in every round robin match, but ultimately were not successful on the day. Thanks to Brendan Wil-

liams and Chris Marshall for supporting the students on the day. Today our Girls’ Soccer team have

braved the weather to represent the school in Division finals. More news will follow.

this term.

SCHOOL BEANIES

Perhaps it is a sign of the cooler weather, but there has been a great response to the latest uniform

shop initiative- so much so that a second order has been placed. Please contact Melissa in the of-

fice if you would like to purchase a school beanie for $10.

OSHC! - Program Details:

Last week the children had a great time making eggless chocolate cake and cupcakes and singing for those children celebrating birthdays in the month of July. This week’s program will include indoor ac-tivities such as; making a jewellery book from recycled cloth and cardboard tea boxes, reading, play-ing Connect 4, Jenga, Uno, snap card game, and doing homework. Children will also enjoy some free time on the playground equipment outdoors when the weather permits. On Thursday the children will be involved in baking Anzac biscuits. Next week’s program will include, board games of their choice indoors, while outdoors there will be skipping, hula hoops and other team games, as well as a bit of colouring and drawing or watching a movie to have some relaxing time.

. I would like to share few pictures of the children having fun at OSHC care.

If you have any further suggestions, please let the OSHC team know.

From,

Juhi, Marianne & OSHC STAFF
