NEWSLETTER Friday, 28th June 2019 KIDS OUT DAY—MARWELL ZOO Class 2 had an excellent, dry and sunny day out at Marwell Zoo thanks to the Rotary Clubs Kids Out day. They saw a great selection of interesting animals and their favourites were the giraffes— one of them was licking a glass door which they thought was very funny. They also liked the zebras and the hippos. After a long walk they enjoyed a delicious packed lunch provided by the Rotary Club. The addition of the Lego dinosaurs was a great attraction. Finally they had train ride around the site which was the highlight of the trip enjoyed by everyone. The helpers were lovely, friendly and enthusiastic and we just want to say a big thank you to the Rotary Club for this very well organised event. The pupils have been talking about the train ride ever since. Monika said it was a great pleasure to take Class 2 to Marwell Zoo, they all behaved very well and she is very proud of them.

BOURNEMOUTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Some students from Upper Secondary, Sensory Ed and the FE had the opportunity to go to Southampton to watch the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra which was playing recognisable classical music from the Nutcracker Suite and Swan Lake. The huge variety of instruments was really impressive and the music was wonderful. It was a very pleasant trip for everyone.
