Merewether Public—What a School! Congratulaons to our B debang team on making the final of the Newcastle debang compeon. The B debang compeon is for children in Year 5. Our team is made up enrely of year 4 girls! Jodie Manning, Isabelle Doherty, Brigie Davis, Sia O’Donnell, Emily Bryant and Madison Watkins. Being runners up New Lambton ( biggest school in Newcastle) is more than a fine effort. Thank you to Miss Woodward for her coaching and guidance. Our 3 Aerobics teams came home from the Spring Challenge last weeken with two silver and a bronze medal. Another fan- tasc effort. The many hours of pracce certainly paid off. Our school is very proud of you. Congratulaons to Miss Woodward and Mrs Nagle for their coaching and support. Thanks girls! Imogen McInnes, Tegan Duggan, Lara Manning, Lily Donoghoe, Kirsty Coade Ella MacKenzie, Brianna Rope, Isabelle Hickey, Isabelle Doherty, Maddison Watkins. MacKenzie Clancy, Imanee Burke, Annika Sommer, Georgia Thompson In the most difficult test in the Hunter / Central Coast Region and beyond, the Newcastle Permanent Maths Compeon, our results are top drawer. Of 11 Year 5 entries, we gained 3 Merits and 6 Disncons. In year 6, of 18 entries, we gained 4 Merits, 4 Disncons and 1 High Disncon. Lara Manning, was placed in the top 100 performers in the year 6 secon. Disncon - top 15% Merit - next 30% High Disncon - awarded to the top 100 places in the compeon. Merewether Public—What a School! Congratulations to our B debating team on making the final of the Newcastle debating competition. The B debating competition is for children in Year 5.
