Practical Applications
Helping front-line people to identify individual preferences of each customer and then tailoring their response accordingly, results in improved customer service and reduced costs. Western Union have employed Emergenetics globally to drive improved customer service performance.
Improving customer service
Using Emergenetics to help sales people understand how to flex their approach to individual clients and therefore deliver much improved sales performance is a way of delivering immediate RoI on a training intervention.

In this “analytical” section of the newsletter, we provide a short selection of interesting books and articles that inform our knowledge of neuroscience, leadership and team performance. Books & Articles
This book provides a very interesting guide to the complex decision making that pervades business life. It is much more practical than decision making theories based purely on laboratory controlled experimental data, which can have little relation to reality. Very refreshing. It will have you hooked in the first page.

Quiet by Susan Cain.
Published in 2012, we firmly believe this should be required reading for all business people, especially if you are interested in utilising the varying preferences within a team. It underlines the importance of first third expressive behaviours within any organisation. A cathartic read that emphasises the value of all Expressiveness preferences.

We are increasingly impressed with the coverage of neuroscience in Scientific American and the daughter magazine Scientific American Mind. Whilst articles are not generally written with specific workplace applications in mind, they are great sources of stimulating scientific information if you are intrigued about how our brains function.

Detrain Your Brain in New Scientist.
The same admiration is true for New Scientist. Of course, you would need to subscribe to these magazines to read the full articles, but online subscriptions are not overly expensive and either magazine will provide brain food for both your conceptual and analytical thinking attributes!!

TEAM TIP SHEET BOOKLETS Bound Tip Sheet Booklets are proving very useful when Emergenetics is used as a foundation for team development. These reports provide exceptional data, clearly presented, that allow teams to understand their team dynamics, maximise performance and create a common language for co-operation and understanding. Leadership Development Programme with Emergenetics Profile Assessment @ Unipak – INDEVCO Group
We spent an amazing weekend with the management team at Unipak between the 3
rd and 5
th of May 2014 for 3
days of outstanding learning and fun with remarkable people. The workshop was based on a Profile Assessment for the team, and followed by various team building and leadership activities. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Antoine Eid, the only Emergenetics Profile Assessor in the Middle East using an interactive approach throughout the 3 days. The attendees expressed their endorsement for the experiential learning approach used by the trainer and the real-life application of the learned concepts in comparison to other theoretic training they had previously attended.
