May 2011 In late April, aſter a successful recruitment of members and interns, Outgoing exchange team did embark on supporng Exchange parcipants to match and realize. OUTGOING PREPARATION SEMINAR was held in 30th April by Outgoing exchange team as a first training for Exchange parcipants. The seminar focused on CV wring: how to write an impressive and aracng CV, which is an essenal step to gain admission of taking part in internships overseas . In the seminar, Guest speaker Melvyn Lim, Director at Capital Educaon & Training not only comprehensively equipped Exchange parcipants with necessary knowledge and skills but also impressed anyone in the seminar with interesng examples. One month striving for excellent has gone by since the spring re- cruitment, desired result is a reward for Outgoing exchange team effort. 17 Exchange parcipants had agreement on parcipang in projects in other countries. More honorly, among Exchange parcipants, the number of AIESEC members going exchange in this period increased rapidly to 7 members from many teams. All exchange parcipants are flying to their expected countries in this summer and looking forward to having meaningful internships. In late April, after a successful recruitment of members and interns, Outgoing exchange team did embark on supporting Exchange participants to match and realize. OUTGOING PREPARATION SEMINAR was held in 30th April by Outgoing exchange team as a first training for Exchange participants. The seminar focused on CV writing: how to write an impressive and attracting CV, which is an essential step to gain admission of taking part in internships overseas . In the seminar, Guest speaker Melvyn Lim, Director at Capital Education & Training not only comprehensively equipped Exchange participants with necessary knowledge and skills but also impressed anyone in the seminar with interesting examples.

Project Global Citizen held their first workshop in May. Global citizen workshops focus on equipping the young survival skills and knowledge to live in global environment. At this moment, Global citizen workshops have gradually attracted many more attendants by their diversity in con-tent as well as professionalism in working style.

In addition, 2 international interns from Russia and Philippines help run workshop smoothly. They also support project to build and run work-shops about Russia Culture and Philippines Culture in schools, which have received many positive feedbacks from attendants.

Until the end of May, GC has organized 11 official workshops with about 250 views, an impressive number for a young project

After the success of first talkshow at Foreign Trade University about E-commercial, MEETING LEADER PROGRAM team continuously ran workshops with Guest speakers from IBM , FPT in Academy of Banking, University of Business and Technology. In 12nd May, MEETING LEADER PROGRAM organized the second talkshow at Foreign Trade University with topic PR and Branding. Guest speaker: Mr LE Quoc Vinh, host of “nói ra đung so” program in VCTV came to share passionately with Foreign Trade University students about PR and branding, partly assisting them in understanding clearly this tough subject.

In July, over 200 Vietnamese AIESECers and international AIESECers from other countries will attend “Ignite conference” – a big annual national conference of AIESEC Vietnam. It takes place in Vung Tau city from 3rd to 8th in July. Ignite conference aims at creating a great learning experience that helps participants explore and develop their leadership potential. At present, AIESECers and interns from all over Vietnam are excited to attend the Ignite conference. To every AIESECer, this annual national conference is considered as a significant milestone in their AIESEC life, where self- expression, team honor and the value and meaning of their devotion to AIESEC light out.
