PSI present at NJWEA Winter Technology Transfer Seminar

Contact PSI for your MBBR Biological Wastewater Treatment Process needs

PSI Process and Equipment/Pumping Services, Inc.will be presenting at the Jersey Water EnvironmentAssociation 2013 Winter Technology Transfer SeminarMarch 4 - March 7, 2013 at the Sheraton Eatontown. The moderator is John Tobia, PE, Principal ProjectManager, CH2M HILL. The PSI presentation is titled“Multiple Rake Screens for Effective Debris Removal”will be presented by David J. Silverman, P.E.,Applications Engineer, PSI Process and Equipment.

This webcast will begin with a brief, general overviewof these two process technologies including thefundamental aspects of the systems, specificallymedia type, retention screens, aeration system, andkey design considerations. The presentation willcompare MBBR/IFAS technology againstconventional treatment methods and describecircumstances in which MBBR/IFAS systems arefeasible options to consider. Case studies will beused to illustrate innovative applications of thetechnology in municipal and industrial facilities aroundthe globe. Examples will include plant upgrades, retrofits, and new builds with supporting data. Thewebcast will conclude with a brief question andanswer session taken from participants during the liveevent.
