Dear Well Wishers Saprem Jai Sri Krishna!

The Jan - Mar ‘20 qtr. has been traumatic and unprecedented in all respects. An unimaginable and un thought of Corona virus has engulfed us all. We at Krishnashray Gurukul are taking all possible precautions and following the good practices and processes as laid down by ACF. We are closed since 16 March and would follow the prevailing directions in all respects. Two of our fashion designing students Ms. Vandana Joshi & Ms. Shruti Sharma have been selected for jobs by The famous Pune based fashion designer & Gurukul well wisher Ms. Nandita Sikchi. Hopefully they join her once the virus subsidizes. As a consequence of the virus two important events got postponed. (1) Maj Gen (retd) Shri Subhash Pareekh Ji and the current In charge at Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital ,Jaipur was to visit us and address our

staff and faculty on 14/15th mar (2) Smt. Vaishali Dhoot was to take her second martial arts workshop from 18/20th March. Both these events we hope are postponed

temporarily and our students both current and past and also our faculty would benefit from such expertise and experience in the very near future, once things stabilize.

Also one of our very outstanding student Ms. Shaloo Bharadwaj was recruited by the reputed Udaipur based KPO Arcgate at a very attractive salary. However family compulsions did not permit her. We however are very enthused. Arcgate have shortlisted two other candidates. We hope to benefit with the kind patronage and guidances of Arcgate.

A Skill Training Center started in the year2016 in Mathura district

Objective

To impart quality training to rural youth in order to make them employable/self-

employable

To identify the resources of the local area for the fulfilment of the need of

youth for employment

Entrepreneurship Development Training Program which includes training courses like Beautician,

Painting, Dress Designing and Fashion Designing.

Skill training without EDP module include computer Accounting, General Duty Assistant (Assistant

Nursing)

Renowned and experienced lady in the field of Vocational and educational training with over 18 years of experience in imparting skill training in the area of IT, Fashion, Beauty, art and Craft.She is a Gold medalist in M.A. Sociology from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University and along with this completed two years Advance Diploma in Fashion Designing in 2001.She is managing trustee and center manager in Khajani women's institute from last 11 years in Mathura. Khajani is a renowned institute for imparting vocational trainings and reforming life of 300+ girls every year, with an alumni strength of may 5500+ students.She has been instrumental in bringing Gurukul up to this level and we look forward to her for valuable guidance always.

Heading towards self-reliance through SHG (Self HELP GROUP)

SHG was formed by Krishnashray Gurukul SEDI at Jatipura with 13 female

members who are almost of same age group, same income group and

same area (within a radius of 4 Km) on 25th of December,2019.

It was named Braj Mahila Mandal. The meeting of SHG takes place every

fortnight and all the records like minute book, pass book etc. is being

maintained by the group members.

The group has also nominated their 3 office bearers who are called, 1.

Secretary 2. Treasurer and 3.President. They take care of the group

activities as per their designation.

The group has also opened a bank account in Oriental bank of commerce

and deposit the collected share @100/-per member in the bank.

For enhancing the income of group and thereby creating corpus fund, SHG

decided to go for income generating activities like Bedsheet stitching,

candle making etc. Krishnashray Gurukul SEDI is supporting the group in

this endeavor for making them self reliant.

Highlights of the Quarter • A new initiative was undertaken by Krishnashray Gurukul SEDI by introducing

sessions on Bhagwat Gita

• The Monks of ISCON temple agreed to deliver lecture for one and half hour.

• It was agreed upon that there will be altogether 6 sessions for faculties and students followed by a test for all the sessions.

• The cluster review meeting of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh region took place in the month of January,2020.

• Ms. Poonam Kaushik, Master trainer of soft skills and advance accounting course participated in the meeting and bagged the best presentation award from Ambuja Cement Foundation officials
