Hello Moose Members,
Hope everyone had a joyous and safe holiday season. In case you missed it, we
had a great turnout for the Children’s and the Adult Christmas Party and the New
Years’ Eve party. I’d like to thank all those that attended and especially those
that volunteered their time to make these parties a great success.
Our Christmas food and toy drives were a success. These are the reasons we do
what we do at the lodge. Raising $$$ for charity and donating food to the needy
are what the lodges true purpose is. It is a good feeling when an event is success-
ful and a goal has been reached. With that being said I would like to thank every-
one who donated food and toys for the Christmas drives. I would also like to thank
everyone who helped with the drives.
I would also like to thank Pam Damba and Janice Hedges for spearheading the re-
cent Karaoke contest. Congrats to the winners that will go on to the District level
contest - Celia Lopez and Bill White.
Our annual Super Bowl party is almost here. Our wonderful volunteers are work-
ing diligently to provide our members with a very memorable experience and the
best quality food. Don’t forget that the Lodge is only open on Super Bowl Sunday
for those members that have a ticket and their guest. We appreciate your cooper-
ation.
Just a reminder that the annual Officer elections will be coming up in a few
months. If you are interested in becoming an officer, I suggest coming to a few of
the lodge meetings between now and election time.
And as always, we need more volunteers for our Lodge. If you have any free time,
please give your name and number to one of the officers or bartenders.
I look forward to seeing you at the Lodge. Fraternally yours, Frank Rozell

Hello All and Happy New Year!
Well, the holidays are behind us and winter is here. Hopefully, we’ve all recuperated from the cha-
os that comes with celebrating the holidays with family and friends. Here’s hoping the New Year
will be good to all! I’d like to take this time to issue a big thank you to all who donated food for the
St. Joseph’s food pantry and the toys for the toy drive to benefit the Charles County Children’s Aid
Society.
The Women of the Moose will be hosting a “Soup and Chili Cook-off” in February. Be sure to
check out the upcoming Friday night dinners. Also, we are trying to keep the Thursday pizza
nights going through the winter every other week. Please check the bulletin for details.
Please mark your calendars of our meeting nights, which will be the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each
month. Looking forward to seeing you there and in the Lodge.
Fraternally yours,
Beth Garner
