Born and Raised… Hi, my name is Nicole Shirley Beingessner.

I was born and raised here

in Red Deer, Alberta and

still can’t seem to leave

this beautiful town… let

alone my parents house.

I’ve got two wonderful

parents named Brian and

Tracy. Apparently, I gave them such a great

idea of what kids would be like, they de-

cided to have a few more. Hence my sib-

lings: Brett, Mark and Bailey. We have just

made our first move from Eastview to An-

ders. Not much of a change you may think,

but the move gave us a much needed larger

house.

Age old Traditions... Since I was young, family

has come first in my life

and that continues to be

true today. Christmas and

Easter hold strong family

traditions, as we take turns

hosting each with my fathers

side of the family. I have eight cousins and

three aunts and uncles in which we share

these holidays with. What can be expected

is a tough game of trivial pursuit where the

lady’s will battle the men. I was proud to

join this battle the year I

turned eighteen. To

make the odds even, my

boyfriend, Cory, also

participates as part of the

men’s team.

Sweet Summertime… My summers are often spent working at The

Little Ice Cream and Soda Shoppe, where I

have worked for the past five years.

Also, in my free time, I spend the rest

of my summers out at my aunty and

uncles cabin, at Sunbreakers Cove, on

Sylvan Lake. The cabin holds many

memories from summers past, wake

boarding, skiing, jet-

skiing, boating, and

lounging around on the

beach. My aunty and un-

cle currently own two

cabins out there, which

gives our family the

chance to rent out one, while they stay at the

other. Lots of family time is shared out there

and only makes us stronger as the years go

on.

Me and Shannah Ready for a night on

the town!!

Mr Right… I am currently in a relationship with a young

man named Cory Kloss. We attended Gateway

Christian School together

since kindergarten and at-

tended separate high schools.

We started dating in the sum-

mer of 2006 and have been

going strong since that first

summer. It has been about 4 and a half years

since we’ve started our journey.

A,B,C’s and 1,2,3’s… I come from a Christian

household. So, of course,

my parents put me into a

Christian school where I

could build on my faith

and find relationships with

other people who shared

my faith. I attended Gateway Christian School

from kindergarten to Grade Nine. Definitely a

defining point in my life and I still look back

on those days and appreciate how that school

helped me build the person I am now and the

strong friendships I hold today. After Gateway

I attended Notre Dame High School. I had a

great experience here, it was the first time I

was able to grow out of my comfort zone and

find new faces and build

new friendships out of

our Gateway Christian

group. After Notre Dame

I took a summer break

and went to California

When I Grow up…

As I’ve mentioned, I’m working towards my

education degree and am hoping to become

an elementary teacher. Things are going

great and I’m really loving learning about

becoming a teacher. Ideally, I would love to

teach for five years and then hopefully be-

come a stay at home mom. I love children

and would absolutely love to have some of

my own someday.

Up until about a year and a half ago, I

thought I was going to become a hair-

dresser, Now I am in my second year

of B.Ed.

I am headed to Vegas this summer!!!

New York, New York!... This past summer I got the opportunity to

spend a week in New York!! Such an amazing

experience that I’m so grateful to have been

apart of. Me and three girlfriends (Holly,

Heather and Brooke) packed up our bags and

headed to the big apple with hardly a weeks

notice to prepare us. We got to see the Statue

of liberty, Times Square, Central Park, count-

less museums, and two broadway shows. The

Broadway shows were by far my favourite!

We got to see “Promises, Promises” and

“Chicago”. Both wonderful shows with amaz-

ing acts!! One of the greatest times in my life

and I will definitely be comparing all my fu-

ture trip endeavours to this one!!
