ICRA in a report has said that real estate developers in India will see a healthy growth on the back of international investor tie-ups worth $2 billion. Shubham Jain, vice-president, ICRA Ratings, said: “The stress in the industry has made available ample investment opportunities in the sector at attractive rates. With over $2 billion of capital commitment expected under various platforms, the leading developers would be able to acquire new projects thus ensuring a steady launch pipeline over the medium term. Moreover, the equity nature of such partnerships would reduce the burden of providing any committed exit to partners,” Real estate developers could benefit by using this capital to invest in various projects. “The investment is typically routed through the project special purpose vehicle (SPV), with the costs and profits to be shared by the partners in a pre-determined manner as per their respective economic interests. The investor is associated with the project since the start, and is provided an exit through the ultimate monetisation of the project. The number of new launches in affordable housing has increased by nearly 100 percent on year to 17,000 units across top property markets—Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad— during this period, the real estate services firm said in its report. "Rise in the launch of affordable segment can be attributed to a steady demand for this segment of housing in key cities of Bengaluru, Delhi - NCR and Mumbai. It is heartening to see that demand for this segment, which was neglected for a very long time, is now being catered to as this formed a very large segment of latent demand," said Anshul Jain, MD, India, Cushman & Wakefield. "The uptake of affordable segment in the market will have a cascading impact on the overall economy at large," Demand for affordable homes has grown after the government allowed first-time home buyers additional deduction while calculating tax liability. Developers are aware of potential demand in this segment and are enhancing focus here as part of strategy. "The demand for quality affordable housing projects outstrips supply by a large margin. While consumer sentiment has seen visible improvement due to various initiatives by the government during the last year. Also, urbanisation is certainly impacting demand. The real estate market has realigned itself to the current market condition and expectations of home buyers," said Brotin Banerjee, MD, Tata Housing. On 25th July, 2016 we celebrated the foundation of our next landmark

- Project Codename NGE, Byculla. It was a special day at Peninsula

Land as we commenced the Bhoomi Poojan at the site of the project.

With this monumental beginning we’ve restored the glory of Byculla. It

was a day of ceremonies and celebrations where employees of PLL

along with Board Members raised the occasion with their presence.

Our esteemed Chairperson Mrs. Urvi Piramal, Mr. Rajeev Piramal (VC &

MD) and Mr.Nandan Piramal (Director of Marketing) enhanced the

prestige of this occasion by participating in religious rituals. The

ambience was filled with new hopes and positivity, each member of
