Mentoring Phase

During these three months we had three mentoring group

meetings, titled as follows: “Development of imagination and

memory”, “Fear and the ways to overcome it”, and “I want to

change the world”. All the meetings were intended to reveal

their inner world, fears and all the other positive traits,

which help to develop a creative person.

Individual meetings in Nor Luyce

Mentoring individual meetings are still going on in Nor

Luyce. Now we have 11 mentor-mentee pairs, who have or-

ganized 101 individual meetings in total. The meetings that

were realized during the three months were very interesting,

unique and educational. During these three months the pairs

visited museums, exhibitions, jobsites of their friends, went

out for a walk, celebrated a mentee’s birthday, baked to-

gether, etc. Our mentors also visited their mentees at school

and music school, went to the events where their mentees

were participating, they also sat with their mentees at a class.

Lead me and I will follow you

During these three months mentor-mentee pairs have organized three

meetings. With the help of mentors the mentees made and presented

presentation on the following topics: “The magic world of Armenian

legends”, “Worldwide sport championship” and “I want to change the

world”. All the meetings were motivating and full of aspiration.

Skill Building Phase

During these three months six group meetings were organ-

ized, that aimed to arm the mentees with all the important

skills necessary for the 21st century. Those skills were the

following ones: time management, team work, right use of

internet, computers, and web-sites, how to right a paper and

how to get ready for an interview.

Mentoring training

Nor Luyce continues providing the mentors with mentoring

trainings for them to have productive meetings with their men-

tees. Mentoring trainings help the mentors to gain new knowl-

edge and new techniques regarding the mentoring. Nor Luyce

also provided the mentors with other important trainings to help

them be more developed. During these three months our men-

tors took part in three trainings on “How to motivate the teenag-

ers”, “Credit and debit cards, loans”, and “how to post an article

in Wikipedia”. All the meetings were led by the appropriate trainers.

Special thank you to Hripsime Farzadyan, Gohar Hovhannisyan and Jenya Mazmanyan for their sup-

port.

Overall group meetings

During these three months we had two overall group meetings:

“Christmas” and “The secret of success”. The last meeting aimed

to root the sense of trust in mentees for them to be easy to

reach their goals and have success. Regarding Christmas, we

could celebrate it on December 21st, 2014. The aim of the

meeting was to

ce lebrate the

holiday with the

whole team, have

fun and enjoy our

day together. During the meeting the mentor-mentee

pairs presented a small activity together, while other

mentees presented small shows with their phase groups.

During the event the mentees showed different dances,

songs, humor activities, exchanged with information

about Christmas, and also cited poems.

Scholarship Phase

During these three months our mentees took part in two more

group meetings referring to financial fields. During one of the

meetings the mentees learnt about budgeting and during the

other one they met with a financier. Our speaker, Jenya

Mazmanyan, summed up the financial meeting and answered all

the questions that mentees had. Right after the financial meet-

ings the mentees took part in computer classes. During these

classes the mentees learnt MS Word and MS Power Point in de-

tails.
